Hi all,

Today I just found out about a business trip that I will need to take to Orlando in early March. My husband won't be able to go with, so I asked my mom if she wanted to join me and we could extend the trip over a weekend. It took her all of one second to jump on the offer. Knowing that we missed the 180 day mark for dining reservations, I figured Le Cellier wasn't likely. I called today and am completely shocked - Le Cellier was available for all 4 days we are available (both lunch and dinner). Any idea how this might be?

During my last two trips, I was completely unable to get Le Cellier for dinner and had to do lunch even though we booked 180 days out. We were also lucky enough to get Coral Reef for dinner too. I'm so excited, but confused at the same time! Have there been a ton of cancellations do to the economy?

I know exactly how you feel. I just called last week and had my choice of any day/time for CRT and Chef Mickey's for our trip in March. :thumbsup2

I'm hoping that means low crowds.

Low crowds during spring break? Yeah, probably not, but I have my fingers crossed! ;)

This is the reason for the 7/4 deal you are seeing. Reservations for the first half of next year are down right now, thanks to the economy.

Same thing here. We are going at the end of March so I'm only able to make about 5 ressies.

Well MIL informed me today that she was actually going to book a vacation too like we had talked about and asked me to book it plus ADR's.

I thought there was no way I could get her into some of them.

Nope. I got CP, 1900 PF, CM and CRT all at the same time as us or 5 minute difference!!! I linked all the ADR's so we can sit together too.

I remember there was a time that you had to get up at 7 am at the 180 day mark to get CRT. CRAZY!!!!

I think it's the fact that reservations are low and not many people know about the ADR system being put to take ADR's to 3/22.

Wow. Sounds like I'm not the only one that lucked out on ADRs. Now I'm wondering if I should try for CRT too!

In a way, I'm glad not many people know about the booking window. I just got off the phone and only one out of the 13 reservations wasn't the exact time I requested. The one ressie was only off by 5 mins. I was completely shocked! I asked the CM if this was indicative of the crowd levels. She said maybe I just got lucky!?!:lmao:

Me too! LOL How awful is that! :lovestruc

I thought I would be out of luck with all 4 of those since they are all pretty popular IMO. I flat out almost passed out when I got CRT within 5 minutes of our ressie!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then to get CM 5 minutes off and CP and 1900 PF at the exact times! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I'd imagine that part of the reason is also that reservations for March did not open up at 180 days due to some changes that are still upcoming in the dining reservation system. I believe it was just a couple of weeks ago that they opened up March.
