Shirts to Wear to the Parks

We are planning on going to Disneyland for two days this summer (still trying to work out the financial details, wish us luck! ). I wanted to make some t-shirts for me and my younger sister to wear to the park. We are both teenagers, by the way.

I was thinking I would do them tie dye and then write some things with puff paint. Or possibly, if it is very inexpensive, have them made professionally with my design on them and then tie dye them myself.

Do you have any ideas of designs I could do? I am not particularly skilled in the artistic department but I do my best

I've never done it myself, but I know there are people on here that make thier own tie dye shirts with Mickey heads on them.

I'm making freezer paper t-shirts
playing with it to see how well it works & checking sizing at this moment - wanting to see how well the stretch shirts do with it

I did the iron stuff last year - you can get the paper at Wal-mart in the office section but they seem to stick to us - we did go in August so it was hot & that didn't help

If you want to make the tie dye shirts, the thread has been bumped back up to the top of the Arts and Crafts page.
Also, a friend of mine used Elmer's fabric glue to make a swirled Mickey head in the center of her shirt and then uses a spray bottle to "paint" the shirt. It turned out really nice.
