Shirts are done!

I got the kids t-shirts done today! I just love the way they turned out.

I ended up letting them each choose their three favorite DISigns.

Dd10 settled on a Cinderella shirt for Park Faire designed by Natalie (donatalie), Selena Gomez in Wizards of Waverly Place designed by Tebi73 and the cutest Mickey Head that says "A little bit pirate, a little bit princess." I forgot to write down the designer for that one.

Ds 11 got Phineas and Ferb, I don't know the designer for this one either. He also got Lego Star Wars designed by Amy (M_I_C_K_E_Y) and a name fill with Aaron Stone (a Disney channel movie) also designed by Tebi73.

I got the transfer paper from Amy's (M_I_C_K_E_Y) website. It worked great! So easy to use and they turned out really well.

Thanks DISigners! The kids and I LOVE the shirts!

Your shirts came out so nice!!!!

If you have some time would you mind sharing the steps you took in order to get the transfers done. I made some for our trip last year and the 1st time I washed them they got ruined. I am looking for tips and tricks before I get started on this years shirts!!! I have washed my shirts and am ready to go!

I haven't washed these shirts yet but dd has a shirt that a friend gave her over a year ago that she wears all the time. I think the trick is buying the right transfers. The ones from Wal-mart just don't wash as well. If you go to amymickey.com she has great transfers that work really well. You already pre-washed your shirts so that's a good start too. Good luck!

Thanks for suggesting amy's transfers. I already printed my designs with the transfers I got from AC Moore (same as I used last year), but I think I may order from Amy because I know what the end result will be...one wash and ruined!
