Shipping Xmas presents for Christmas

We are leaving for Christmas in Disney on Dec. 21. We will be there till the 28th. My question is, how do you get all the gifts for your kids to your hotel? We had a DD 9. I can take her gifts on the plane but then I'll have to go out and buy wrapping paper, tape, scissors and all. You can't take wrapped thing on a plane. We are thinking about shipping her gifts to our hotel. That might be the best way.

Has anyone shipped xmas gifts to their hotel or resort before? Any problems? How soon should I ship?

I'm sure you can ship them to your resort, but you should check with the post office soon on when to ship. If you wait to long, you may find that they will not make there until after Christmas.

We do this all the time. I always promise myself I am going to remember how to do it and then when the Christmas trip to WDW rolls around again I have forgotten. There are two different addresses that can be used. One goes directly to the resort and the other goes to a central locaiton and then the packages have to be moved out to the resorts, so call your resort and ask them exactly how they would like you to address a package to yourself.

PS - we ship a Christmas tree and decorations too.
