I am going to ship (express) a package to the hotel tomorrow, but we do not arrive until 6/17. Is it posible to get confirmation from the hotel that the package arrived? If I call will they be able to confirm? Or do you just track your package through the shipping company?

Has anyone ever had their package not show up?

for our dec trip i just tracked it through the ups site and knew exactly where it was at all times...it was very simple....we are also shipping something down for our trip(june28-july5) so will do the same thing for that package as well...hope this helps...have a great trip:goodvibes

We shipped an extra-large U-Haul box from Indiana on a Tuesday. UPS guaranteed it would arrive by Friday. We arrived there on Saturday and they said that the box was at the front desk, so we came and got it. Our wedding coordinator had said that the hotels would not accept boxes more than 3 days in advance of your arrival date. You need to put the name of your hotel, the address, Guest:your name, and the arrival date on the box itself. The Disney hotels allow you to ship it back home from the front desk too, so we brought packing tape with us and shipped it back when we left.

If you are shipping express via the USPS then I would request for a confirmation. They will attached a sticker to your package and provide you with a tracking #. Then you should be able to track it via the USPS website.

Also, UPS & FEDEX provide you will tracking #'s as well.

What was the time it took you package to arrive at your Resort and where, were you shipping from? I am going to shipping all of my bathroom items down before our August 2008 trip and I am trying to decide when to ship it.

I shipped a box down via UPS. I went on their website and plugged in where I was shipping from and to, the type of box and the approximate weight and the website told me what it would cost and how long it would take to get there. I could then determine when I needed to ship it. There are various options; from overnight to 6-7 days (I think). I went the cheapest way and it arrived right on time (even through the snowy winter and I gave it an extra day). I packed a return mailing label already filled out, a black magic marker in a ziplock to cross out what I had written on the box, and some extra packing tape so I could ship the same box home with the clothes I sent down and the souvies we bought. That worked great as well.
