Shipping to the Fort

Hello All,

Next year will be my first attempt at camping in Walt Disney World. I was wondering if it is possible to buy all my camping supplies here in washington state and then ship them out via fed ex or usps to the fort.

what is the best way to get my tent and everything I need to Fort Wilderness when I am flying in. Should I wait and buy everything their or can I mail everything down??

You can ship everything, or you can go to Bass Pro Shops/Walmart when you get here.

You can ship things to the Fort. I always ship a box down when we go. But I make sure it's as light as possible. You're going to pay a fortune to ship a full load of camping gear down.
My advice is for you to guesstimate the weight of whatever you want to ship, then check the USPS site for shipping costs. I bet you will find it's cheaper to just buy (or rent) most of it when you arrive.
