shipping to resort

Are there any specific instructions as to how to ship things to resort? Is it ok if it arrives 1 or 2 days early? I might want to order stuff from Amazon since using their 2 day shipping, there is a pretty good estimate in terms of delivery timeframe.

What needs to be on the address label besides my name?

Anyone done this before and had success? Do they store the package at front desk or where do I retrieve it, or do they actually deliver to your room?

I actually shipped a window a/c unit to FW for our tent camping adventure (flew in--was cheaper to ship than take with). Sent with Fed Ex, pre-printed return shipping paperwork and set up pick up for the return shipment via the web. I addressed my item to the actual resort address. I put "hold for _____ arriving on _______" on my box. When I arrived the front desk told me I had a box waiting for me and went to the back to get it. They took me by van to our campsite with all our luggage. At the end of our trip, the van picked us up at the campsite to take us back to the lobby for our ME pick up. They helped me tape up my a/c box, I put my pre-printed FedEx paperwork return label on the box, they wheeled it to the back room again, and it arrived back at my house a few days later. No problems!
