Last year when I was in Epcot, I purchased a beautiful picture from one of the kiosks. It is of Mickey Mouse and Walt, holding hands, standing in the castle archway. I was flying home, so my mom and dad brought it home by car, becasuse I didn't want to take in on the plane. There were more picutres that looked like they went with that one, and I would like to pick them up when I go back this October. But everyone is flying this year. Is there some way to ship a package home from the parks? Or from the resorts? And how much can I expect to pay?

when we went shopping at DtD we bought some prints I didn't want to lug. we had the option of having them shipped home right from the store! When you do this they do not charge you tax, you just pay for the shipping. I don't remember the exact price but I know it was under $10. It arrived home a few days after us. They also provided us with a tracking #. I think you can do this at most stores. Otherwise, you can ship something from the resort. We did this also at SSR. I wanted to send home some souveniers. At the concierge counter next to check in at SSR they provided me with boxes and packing tape. I was then able to pick the shipping method, pay for it right there and it got to my house quicker than the prints!!

I'm sure you will have no problems... we once had a toy rifle that wouln't pack in any suitcase and we asked at the front desk about getting it shipped. They had the forms right there! Will filled out the form -- it was either UPS or FedEx -- and paid them and they took care of packing & boxing it and everything else!

We bought some Christmas items during our trip back in January. One was a Minnie tree-topper. There was no way we would have fit it in our luggage. The store shipped it for around $10 for us. I believe it was $10 for up to $100 worth of merchandise. (This was the Christmas store at Magic Kingdom.) I believe most of the stores and the resorts will do this for you. It was well worth it. They told us it would take up to so many weeks, but we had it less than a week after we got home.

WDW shops are happy to ship items for you. You need to tell them prior to ringing up your purchase. If not, they will have to do a post-ship, which takes much longer.

If you ship out of the state of Florida, you will pay no sales tax. This will often offset the cost of the shipping.

we just arrived this sunday from disney and we shipped a huge amount of stuff, it probaly will end up being about 5 boxes worth, the cost was $15 and change, and i mean we shipped a lot of stuff, we waited till the end of our stay and got bell services at our hotel to help take all the packages downstairs to the hotel store(our case it was at the akl)and as long as they were disney purchased items with the tags(or sticker) still on them they scanned everything and shipped them by way of ups, i highly recommend the shipping service that disney offers for its own merchandise, hope this helps

We ship most purhases home. The cost of the shipping is not much more than tax, which is not charged on shipments. They send everything well packed; we have never had a problem and we have even shipped Armani sculptures.
