Shipping packages home from WDW

I'm going to be in WDW at the beginning of Dec. I plan on bringing only a carry on since the airline I'm flying has a checked luggage fee. I was wondering what the procedure was to ship any of my purchases home? Can you go it at the hotel or is it done from the parks? I won't have a car. Any info will be appreciated.

We use the Pack-n-ship of the Dolphin. They do UPS, Fed-ex and USPS. They also have USPS Boxes for Priority mail.

You can ship from most stores in the parks. They handle it at the register.

The best part of the ship when you buy at all stores is that if you live out of FL you don't pay sales tax. When I was a CM, the flat rate shipping usually was less than the tax would have been, so you're out nothing!

I'm staying at Pop. Do they offer the same ups service as the dolphin?

I know when you ship from a disney resort. the shipping fee is based on the total amount of your merchandise not on how much it weighs.

It actually is more convenient to just ship from the park or downtown Disney (if you happen to be shopping there) this way you do not have to go to your resort gift shop collect your merchandise and then have it shipped.

Wow! What great information this is! Thanks! I had no idea you could do this. I tend not to buy things too big or fragile to carry home. Never ocurred to me to ship it from the store! D'oh!
