Shipping from Aulani to US Mainland

So I have searched the threads and I see a lot about shipping to the resort. Is the gift shop allowing shipping back? Has anyone sent anything via FexEd or UPS? Aulani is a first stop and we want to send some stuff back home. We won’t have a card to go to UPS store. Advice? Thank you!

ETA: We are flying early on the morning of Dec 26th and UPS will be closed on the 25th. So shipping on Monday for us won't be an option unless someone things there is a drop box at the airport?

And a bit of advice, the Hawaiians get offended(rightfully so) if you call the mainland the US, as if Hawaii is not part of the US. Hawaii is a State, just like any other. I also highly recommend getting a car for your stay. Aulani is in a secluded area not close to anything. Unless you plan on never leaving the hotel, I would get a car.

Aulani also has a rental car desk if you want to rent a car just for one day to take your packages to the UPS store or something.

Thanks for the catch. Since I was thinking about our entire trip (which is aboard) I was thinking about the US. I saw the link but was hoping to hear if you purchased from the gift shop. All the posts about it are old. Also considering scheduling a UPS or FedEx pickup. I understand they can’t be a package store but some have had success shipping from their store. Thanks for your feedback, I have adjusted post.

In May we were at Aulani and drove to UPS to ship a couple of boxes home before getting on the Disney Cruise. It was pricy but saved a ton of luggage space.

Since we're diving into semantics, Hawaii residents is the preferred demonym in this use case. Hawaiian would refer to native/ethnic Hawaiians.

I am not sure how accurate or up-to-date the FAQ is because, in August 2021, we were able to ship merchandise FedEx directly from the Aulani gift shop to my US mainland home.

Might be too late for you, but the front desk of Aulani can help you ship USPS Priority Mail. They will have flat rate boxes there that you can use. They will then look it up online and buy the postage for you. It's the same rate that you would get in the mainland. Much cheaper than UPS. It will get picked up and shipped when the daily shipment from USPS comes.
