Hello Sisters,
I hope this finds you having a relaxing and fun Sunday! My plans were changed, so instead I am enjoying some internet time.
I wanted to thank everyone for your kind words of support and sharing with me regarding my hysterectomy. It made me feel better, and gave me the extra energy to continue forward with this health journey. You are all the best!
ARLENE: Your tips encouraged me to keep walking! I did take a week off to heal, and I am back to walking. We have a park close by, and one lap equals one mile. I really enjoy walking this park. Sometimes I just think as I walk, other times I listen to music. I also plan to begin doing just the upper body weight training, and add back my leg exercises without the weights. These have toned me in the past. You have the wonderful gifts of nurturing and intuitively wise words! Thank you so much!
GABRIELLE: Im so very glad that youve joined us on this thread! I know how overwhelming the main cruise thread can be
its a lively crowd!

Hope you know that you are welcome there any time!!! CONGRATS on your weight loss!
DENINE: Well girlfriend, it looks like you and I hold the trophy for many surgeries, lol! Really, big hugs to you for the courage to go through your many surgeries and then to move forward. You say you do not feel like an inspiration, but you are to me and others here. Every time I read about your continued weight loss, I do the happy dance and feel much more motivated. You are doing GREAT! You are making changes now that will last a lifetime. You are doing it the right way with your new healthful way of eating and cooking! How is the plantar fasciitis? My mom had that and I remember it being very painful. Hope it is healing AOK.
SANDY: Oh my, a hysterectomy at age 28 and with twins no less!!! You must have had little time to think about recovery, as you were so busy with your new babies!!! And, now your dd is expecting twins too? Do I remember that correctly?! Congrats! Keep up the great work Sandy!!!
TRACY: Sounds like you have a new strategy. Though if you are a size 6, for the life of me I do not know why you want to loose 10 more pounds
.all I can say is, WOW, good going! You have had a journey too. The changes must stick and you have been successful with it sticking. I do encourage you to do resistance training, as that is what ultimately got me to my best when I was at my best. If you do not have a program, there is one for home use I can recommend.
eye R.N.: How is the training for your marathon doing?! Were rooting for you!!! Give us an update when you have a chance. You seem to be in great shape and have come to the place of good health! Kudos to you!
LISA F.: Really sorry to hear about your shingles and the side effects of your meds. Im hoping that youll have a speedy recovery. Be good to yourself, and do not let food be your comfort. Try to eat healthy, and let your loved ones care for you in the ways you want and need. No need to post, as you need to heal. We are here if you want to chat. Best wishes!
CATHY: Did you decide upon the gazelle? I have been thinking about it too, though we have a treadmill, and I really like walking. JANET: How is the gazelle going for you??? You are in the midst of your busiest work season, so I hope all is well with you Janet! You two let us know about that gazelle!
PAM: Welcome back here too! YAHOO on your weight loss during vacation, that is awesome!!! Spring definitely helps to get us motivated.

I am definitely jealous about all the good things Allan and Joy did for you at home for your welcome back. Your home fires burn brightly Pam! And yes, you know you love your dh. We cant live with them and we cant live without them, right?!
