Ship just the blades?

Does anyone know if you can ship just the blades from Savi’s? I’d like to keep the hilts with us in carryon bags just in case but dealing with 3 kids and multiple full size sabers boarding a plane does not sound fun.

We shipped our full sabers and droids from our hotel (poly). They have special packaging for the sabers but I’m sure if you just wanted to ship the blades it wouldn’t be an issue.

We tried to do that but they said no. You needed the entire thing. Unless you buy the blade separately. Then you can ship separately.
