So, on a lighter note...

My family is way too spoiled...

I over planned again...

Flowers for the Mrs.
B-day celebration for the boys
(No DOM) - they were charging over $200/bottle (I'll carry it)
Private Character meeting (although they won't confirm until 25 days prior).

Did I go overboard? Or is my wife going to throw me overboard?

WOW Joel, You are definately going to spoil them again. You are such a sweet guy! May I ask, what is the private character meeting?

We booked some "private time" with one of the characters...DCL will not allow them into "private" staterooms, so it will probably be in a location that is closed for a short period of time. It will just be the 5 of us, a handler and one of the "characters" although at this point I am not sure which one it will be.

It's all about the kids, I love to live the things that I never did through them...Is that wrong?

Hope it isn't because that's what I do too. I spent so many years not having fun as a kid and spending summers helping everyone "bring in the gardens" and putting up veggies that I want my DD to have fun.

I always say I'm living through her, as long as it is something she enjoys doing.

Who would have thought about doing this stuff 30+ years ago when I was their age. Let 'em have fun..And oh what memories...

Tink, Make sure you get the names right Corrina has been a Palo's server on the Magic for awhile now. She's got a pretty good reputation too, but Coralia from Romania is the girl that Joel and I have crushes on. Coralia would have just transferred over recently if she's on the Magic now. Joel, I know exactly what you mean....we are the same way with first our nieces and nephews, and now our son...and soon to be 2nd son....it is all about them. One day Max asked if I could help him do something, and it just came right out of my mouth---I am here to help you, that's what mommy's do.

So, I got up this morning, made my way to work...and immediately logged into the computer to look at the Port Canaveral Webcam. Ok, yes I am truly obsessed with seeing those beautiful ships, just waiting for us. I spent most of yesterday afternoon (5pm) looking at the 3 webcams to watch the Magic leave port for the last time before the Western Canal Cruise.

So, Mozart...Any word? Are you traveling with us? Let me know...

My wife found out about the suite...Disney sent another packet and she thought it was odd. Of course, I couldn't keep a straight face either. The kids still have no idea and we're tyring to keep it that way.
She still has no idea about the rest of the stuff I already planned. So keep your fingers crossed...

And the tickets and documents arrived on Friday...One less thing to worry about...I'm starting the countdown...

As for us joining you...ain't gonna happen. My wife kindly reminded me that we'll be leaving about a week later to go visit her grandmother when I brought the idea up. She thought I was joking, which I was in part because I knew she would never go for it.

But she did agree to a 3 nighter in 2009, which we originally weren't planning to do. We might just add it on to a week in Disney we're doing in October.

I think this will be the fun cruise. Since there is no wedding or trying to accomdate 15 other people. Just the kids and my DW. Oh what fun...
