Now where was I??? Oh Yes, the reception...I have to say that Disney does nothing second rate. Having been to Palo many times for dinner and brunch, I was scared to think of how empty it would be with just us. Boy was I wrong about that. We had the entire restaurant to ourselves and they decorated it to the hilt...Rose petals on the table, dancing in the middle (by the bar of course)...champagne all around. It was beautiful. Our musician from the island was onhand to play lots of Disney favorites...And of course, my DW was prepared with a CD of songs that we wanted for our wedding...My friend Lucy had prepared a toast, which I was a little apprehensive about hearing. Lucy and I have known each other for years and she has seen me at my best and worst...God only knows what she would say...And to my surprise, she couldn't hold herself together through the whole thing...She was awesome...
After our first dance, Rodrigo announced that there was a special friend who "happend to hear that there was a wedding and wanted to stop by." Who could that be, the kids were looking all around...Who was this mystery person, and why would they want to see us?
And here she is...
The kids were astounded, how did she know...And how does dad know a princess? It's all about American Express kids...You'll learn. Anyway, our reception was fun...Again, not over done, just right - Enjoy some of our moments...
After our reception, our guests were able to head back to their rooms and get some quality time on
Castaway Cay...While my DW and I head out for even more photos...Stay tuned for the "Deck Photos."
