Love the Rapunzel pictures, you guys are so lucky you got to see her!

I was really happy that it worked out. We actually weren't planning on seeing Rapunzel because we knew that the line is always out of control. The timing was just really good.

Oh no about all of the meltdowns I completely understand though... that heat is brutal. Even at my age I can still get crabby!
Your breakfast at the castle sounds adorable! Mmm I really want to go there! I just want that french toast! So delicious.
And WOW you lucked out with meeting Rapunzel. That is not a bad wait time at all! They look so adorable having the same dress!

They are actually two of my favorites too. (Ariel is on my list as well).

It was so much fun how big a deal the Pirates League made out of Riley. Every time a new CM would see her, they'd start talking about the fact that there was a princess there and that everyone needed to be careful because there was a princess around.

Awww, that's so sweet that Jasmine thinks he's the cutest thing ever. Even though I may be a little bit partial, I think he's pretty much the cutest thing ever too.

Yeah, we had a couple days with some meltdowns, but in the end it was all okay. The heat was definitely a contributing factor. I haven't been there during that season for so long, I think we were kind of unprepared.

Breakfast was great in the castle. I want some of the french toast right now.

We did really luck out with meeting Rapunzel. I was pretty excited about it myself.

Joaquin's pirate makeover was pretty awesome. However, as you'll find out, Jason should have rethought the kind of makeover that he got, due to the heat.

lol, I honestly can't believe you haven't eaten there! In all your trips. Shame. Maybe we'll have to change that.

I think working at the Pirate's League would be awesome! I would have so much fun. I can understand that the FGITs that work there now love it.

Backlot is good. I only ate there for the first time last November, and we were very happy with it which is why it's on our list now.

Joaquin cheered up, and I was able to get this priceless bit of video of him. It's everything you would ever want to know about Transformers from a 3 year old. It's long, I apologize about that. But I promise you, the end of the video is worth the wait.

OK. He just about the cutest thing living (second to my kids, or course). His hair and his dimples .... serious cuteness like this cannot be duplicated. Do people always try to touch his hair ?? My DS has this blond curly hair and everyone thought it was OK to touch it. Once at the grocery store, this old lady come right for him exclaiming, "oh how cute!!" My DS throws his arms over his head and says. "No, you CANNOT touch my spaghetti hair!" Anyway, I totally followed the whole Transformer talk. My DS was a huge fan and we had TONS of transformers. I sold them all last year at the flea market and made a bunch of money. For some reason my DS gets a lot of gas at Disney, too and - well - farts a lot. He said to me, "momma, I can't help it ... Disney makes my butt happy."


Anyway, Joaquin is seriously CUTE. But I am sure you know this already .....

Thanks! He is pretty cute and he knows it too. People do always want to touch his hair, because it's so curly and cute. Honestly, I always want to touch it all of the time too.

Transformers are his favorite thing right now. Gas was a very common thing on our trip, and not just from Joaquin, from Riley too. I love that your son said that Disney makes his butt happy. That's a good way of looking at it.

Glad that you got caught up. The two of the kids are pretty cute and they have some pretty funny kid-isms.

The annoyance with Jason and his phone was pretty constant. It was like he was on Facebook constantly posting every single location that we had. It was like all of a sudden, since we were there, we could worry about Joaquin.

The view was such a surprise! I wasn't expecting it and was very happy with it. I hope you end up with a view like that too. I'll keep my fingers crossed also!

It was a smart move to see Rapunzel early. I'm really glad that we did it.

It was COMPLETELY out of character for Joaquin to be so quiet and shy. We think he was slightly traumatized by his new face.

I love the picture of Riley looking at the castle. Definitely one of my favorites.

He was a little overwhelmed. It was out of character. He normally has no shell that he needs to come out of.

We left off with Joaquin finishing up his appointment at the Pirates League. After we left there, both Riley and Joaquin definitively announced that they were going to ride on the Magic Carpets. Mom, dad, and I waited out while Jason, Chris, and Sara went on with the kids.

I had to snap a picture while waiting on the bench. We were being invaded!!!

When they got off the ride, Jason explained that Joaquin was already starting to complain about his makeup. I think that explained why he was so quiet at the Pirates League. Joaquin walked up to me and I asked him what was wrong. His response to me?

"I don't want to touch my nasty nasty nasty!!!"

He meant the makeup on his face. But it was humorous nonetheless.

Chris had run and grabbed us fastpasses for Peter Pan and after this we decided to head into the Country Bears. It was very hot and the kids needed to cool down already.

Well, Joaquin continued to have a meltdown here. He kept talking about his affectionately dubbed "nasty" and how he didn't want to touch it. And then he started crying. So, being the wonderful TeeTee that I am, I could not help but take a picture of him crying without him knowing it.

Basically, the whole show was us having to listen through Joaquin crying and sniffling. It was actually pretty funny if you ask me. It went a little something like this.

Singing: "Thank god I'm a Country Bear".

*sniffle, grumble, sniffle, whine*

Singing: "There's.......blood on the saddle".

***whispering: "I don't like my nasty...." *sniffle, whine, sniff*

He wasn't obnoxious or anything, it was just kind of funny.

Riley had a good old time in the show though. There was that.

At this point, Jason had to give in and wipe some of Joaquin's face. He was just having a hard time. I told Jason in retrospect, he should have reconsidered the choice he made to have the full-on makeup put on. It was just too hot.

He was much happier once some of his makeup was off. Let me tell you, it does not come off easy!

I wanted to go on the Haunted Mansion at this point. The boys had gone on it during magic hours, but I wanted to see the interactive queue. Chris stayed behind with Riley because she was scared to go on, but the rest of us went.

I liked the new queue. I do like the idea of interactive queues, because I think it's a great way to keep kids entertained. Oh, and I loved the new hitchhiking ghosts!

After that, it was time to stop for lunch. We were right by Columbia Harbour House, so that was our stop. Most people got the Anchors Away sandwich or shrimp. The kids got peanut butter and jelly I believe.

My sandwich. Very yummy.

Someone was very happy with the grapes.

This is EXACTLY why I should never be given toys at the table.

Everything was good as always and we were all pretty happy. Dad's knee was bothering him and I pretty much insisted that he go back to the room. Mom went along to make sure he would do it. We had a dinner reservation at 5:30pm, so I wanted him to be able to relax.

After that, we headed over to Peter Pan to use our fastpasses.

Riley rode with me (of course, duh! )

After this we headed into Tomorrowland to go on the Laugh Floor. While waiting for the Laugh Floor, we played a little game that I like to call, where's Joaquin....

After this, we headed out. I went with Chris to grab the strollers. Riley's stroller was there. Joaquin's was not.

I had no idea what to do about this. I thought maybe it had been moved. I had parked it among other strollers, but I couldn't guarantee that it was "stroller parking". I ran over to a stroller area with a cast member to explain that it was missing. She asked me details about it. We had a bunch of (not important) stuff in it. I just couldn't fathom what could have happened. While I'm talking to the cast member about what to do, Chris and Jason were looking around Tomorrowland.

So you know I'm over by Monsters Inc. Well, Chris is walking back finally with the stroller. He found it in the middle of the midway over by Astro Orbiter. Now how did it get over there!?

Once it was back, I inventoried everything. Nothing was taken. Actually, we were given an extra spray fan! My theory is that someone thought it was their's, took it, realized it wasn't, and just left it, leaving their spray fan behind. My only irritation with this is put it back where it was! We spent like 20 minutes going through this fiasco!

The heat was so high at this point that we knew we had to head back for a while. It was around 2pm and we had a dinner reservation at 5:30pm.
