my DH that I just booked our DLR holiday trip. We are going the weekend before Thanksgiving. This will be our 3rd year going at this time. I'd love to go closer to Christmas but can't due to school and family obligations.

I couldn't pass up the fall special going on right now. I booked GCH for $273 a night for 4 nights, plus taxes of course. I was going to book 3 nights but it brought the price to $320ish a night. I may end up canceling the 4th night. Does anyone know the cancellation policy offhand?

I will tell my DH as it gets closer. But we just got back from Hawaii so I need to pay some bills before he knows that I'm planning the next trip. I pay the bills so he won't find out.

Did you book through Disney or through some other booking agency? As I remember, Disney's cancellation policy was 72 hours but I honestly don't know that for sure.

I booked through Disney. The rates really are good.

I am looking into a trip before Christmas and I just got an email about the new special disney is running for "Save $300 on a 4night/4day room and ticket package. That could be why the price changed for you with the extra night?

Here is the most current cancellation policy for DLR hotels:

"CANCELLATIONS
Room only cancellations must be requested up to 5 days in advance of first reservation date in order to cancel or change the reservation. If canceled 5 days or later prior to arrival, 1-Night room and tax will be charged."

Also the way you worded it was that the 4th night was $320? If that is true keep calling every so often to see if the rate has been reduced.
