Me: Im a Disney fanatic, sports-crazed, food-loving, spoiled only child, corporate attorney.
Dream job: President of the International Olympic Committee
Panda: Hes a sports-crazed, wine-snob, e-bay junkie, youngest of 6, apprentice union electrician.
Dream job: NASCAR driver.
Mom: Shes a Disney fanatic (more specifically Lion King), obsessive, compulsive shopaholic, Dallas Cowboy loving, young at heart, middle child, office manager.
Dream Job: Grandmother Mom wishes I would pop out some grandkids soon so she has some little ones to buy things for. (Refer to the obsessive compulsive shopping hobby mentioned above). She even has a savings account for my offspring.
Dude: Hes a Disney fanatic, good cook, computer addicted, encyclopedia of knowledge, oldest child, car builder.
Dream Job: Freelance photographer he is really good and has some fancy digital camera that costs as much as some cars. People are always asking him about it when we are on vacation. I expect more of the same on this trip.
Note whats not listed under DHs description Disney fanatic. He likes Disney and all but hes just not as fanatical as the rest of us. But we are working on him.
Background
I have grown up knowing and loving all things Disney. Ive been to Disneyland well over 30 times. When I was younger my family was known for spontaneous, unplanned trips to Disneyland, which was 6 hours away by car. Now talk about Disney magic dad would come home on Friday pack the car and off we would go. I cannot wait to do the same to my children someday. But I have only been to Disneyworld one time for 6 days in 2000 and I was in a conference for 2 1/2 days. I knew 10% of what I know now thanks to the DIS and Deb Wills site. I feel like a WDW veteran and I am ready to use that knowledge to experience and enjoy the World.
DH has been to WDW at least 5 times as a kid when he spent summers at his dads in FL but he has not been in over 18 years. So hes going to be in for a shock.
DH and I have been married since January 1, 2000. But the marriage, to most, was long overdue. You see DH and I have been dating since I was 14 and he was 15. We live about 4 blocks away from mom and Dude, so we are all very close and we do lots of things together.
Now you may notice that I have yet to mention anyones ages. Well this dynamic of our foursome makes this quite a story. Mom is 49----but according to her shes been 20 for a while and acts it. Since she had me at 20 that would make me a toddler so you cant believe a word she says. Im 28. DH is 29 (days away from the big 3-0 See the forthcoming Chapter 1 for more details). Now here is where the group dynamic is interesting. Dude is 34. Yep, thats right. Mom went off and married herself a younger man making my stepfather 5 ½ years older than me and 4 years older than my husband. They have been married almost 9 years and I will be the first to say that in 9 years of marriage she has been happier than 90% of the 21 years she was married to my dad. So, since he makes her happy that makes me happy and thats all anyone can ask for. Oh and the fact that he spoils me almost as much as my mom does.
So know that you know who we are, next up why we are going!!

We were married four years on January 15, and I too have been happier these last four years than I was in all of my 20 year marriage to my previous husband! Can't wait to read your report.
