GG - what did you think of the BWV rooms? I have been checking out the thread and it looks like the BWI rooms are updated but the villas are not. We are planning BW for our adults only trip next year. It will be 3 couples total. I think we all want separate rooms (after all, isn't that the point of an adult trip? ) BUT, I started pricing them and whew, they are high! So, then I thought, well, would we want to share? One of the couples is DVC so I started looking at the villas but they look to not be as nice as the rooms. Thoughts?

I've looked at the photos, and Yes, the villa rooms look very outdated, especially compared to the Inn side! The Villas have that ugly bedspread, and the pics seem to show quite a bit of wear and tear on the furniture and on the room overall .... the INN rooms look much crisper and cleaner, the beds have the linens instead of the ugly bedspread...I don't think I'd want to stay in a Villa Side room. Have you thought about the Deluxe room at BWI?? that is one I am looking at for our next trip.
Hope things have been good for you since coming home!! You where so sweet, I loved meeting you, and only wish we had more time to spend together. Perhaps we'll get to meet up again one day

So Pas changed to WL! But I say it's not over yet! I'm in Poly world right now, since I love it, we'll be there in 99 days and our two older boys have now ranked it their favorite! But we always have love for WL . . .

just love the Polynesian.
I hoping my 2 DD will like the Boardwalk as much as I did last year when we go in January.

I've got all my requests ready to go....and.....got two "desperate" calls from YC CL telling me they don't have my CC info to book my ressies....ummmmm, I'm staying at Beach Club, and not CL....(yet). I did call and email them about the change awhile ago....

Hi Linda! Glad to hear you are having a wonderful time!! I was thinking for my next trip (DS Grad Trip 2014 with his DGF) that we might do the BWI DLX room for the sleeping all of us (DH/ if he comes, and I in one Queen bed, DS in another and DS GF in the sofa bed) -- however, we also all ADORE AKL, albeit, we usually stay at Jambo house in Club Level.....however -- I am open to perhaps trying Kidani in a Villa, what would you recommend?? one bdrm/ or 2 bdrm??? are they cost affordable? remember I am used to paying for club level, so higher end deluxe cost is not foreign to me -- I know I won't be able to have club level if I go to Kidani, perhaps that would be a good time to try Deluxe Dining....we've always wanted to, but with club level, it's way too much food! I'd love to hear your thoughts! I was also thinking about WL Deluxe room/ Club Level. but AKL is my favourite resort overall, I just love it there. Would you recommend WL, BWI DLX or going for a larger unit at Kidani?? Enjoy your day!

Still posting from my Kindle. I was not overly impressed with the BWV room. We were only in a studio so maybe the larger units are nicer. I just also didn't get the same comfy feeling that I do at VWL or AKV. Now don't get me wrong I love the location and will probably stay there again especially for F&W ..... it's just off my list to purchase points at. Today my thought is to buy points at AKV but we check into VWL tomorrow so I could be changing my mind again! I will say that for warm weather stays my very favorite is AK ... love both pools there. Also a one bedroom will sleep 5 ...... or 4 with 2 teenagers in separate places.

Long day....on the road by 6am, checked in at WL at 9ish. Room wasn't ready which we expected but no biggie, left the bags with bell services and headed to Epcot. Oh and through this time DH tells me how he forgot how unimpressed he was with WL the last time we were there. Wish he had remembered that tidbit before today

At about 10:30am we got a text saying our room was ready and to stop at the front desk, but no room number???? Then at lunch out KTTW didn't work. In between parks we headed back to WL to unpack a bit and regroup. I basically had to check in all over again, which was frustrating. The CM didn't know what happened either. I also had new keys issued and were assured they were good for charging.
Got exactly what we ended up booking after having to change the weekend, inner courtyard BB room on the 4th floor.

Once in the room the kids now inform me that they didn't want BB...well tough, this is what they picked and the resort is full. As I am unpacking I hear an announcement that they will be testing the fire alarms....okay hurry up time for us and our Aspie son!!! Well we didn't make it out in time and the alarm went off for a solid 10-15 minutes before we were far enough not to hear it. Piercing, screeching sounds that even hurt my ears.

Finally make it to MK. I hand DH his KTTW and he takes the kids for frozen lemonades by Thunder Mtn as I stand in line for a Dole whip. Have I mentioned how hot and crowded it is today, lol! So I get to the counter and hand the CM by KTTW and you know she tells me I can't charge anything it is over the charging limit. Really???? So I know the next thing about to happen...sure enough DH calls me to tell me the same thing happened with his card and of course that is all he has on him. Thankfully the CM felt so bad she gave my kids the frozen lemonades for the inconvenience. Soooo nice of her and made DH really happy!!! So at this point I am beyond frustrated and called the number on the card. I am told there was no phone number in the record so I couldn't charge??? What, they already texted me today?

So a few more rides and over to FW we go for dinner at TE. We check in and were given a pager an told 5 minutes. After 15 I go back up to the podium and ask how much longer, and of course we were seated immediately, with so many empty tables. Now DH is in a mood, DS is melting down, and you know dinner can't go well from there. First thing the kids see is that there is no ice cream machine, of course, it's broken. DH hems and haws about how bad the food and service is and says he has no interest in ever coming back to FW and to cancel our ADR for TE and the golf cart for Dec.

DH and the kids are so unimpressed by WL, DH says I spoiled him with YC. He is even afraid CR won't live up to YC. He really loved the Epcot resort area and so much to do right there. I happen to like it here but do feel the room size difference.

After going back to MK for a while I hit my pain threshold and the kids were starting to meltdown so back we came at about 10pm. No way can we do the dessert party next time, my kids (and DH) won't make it.

They are all asleep as I sit here in the room (afraid going on the balcony will disturb them) writing this and sipping a nice strong drink.

DH wants me to change Jan from CR to YC. I told him lets go check out CR tomorrow and decide then. We will still do CR in Dec, but he is thinking he wants to be at YC for our long trip.

I am feeling like I let everyone down this trip and after so much planning it is hard to not to feel guilty. Oh well, we are still in Disney and tomorrow is a new day and I plan on letting everyone sleep in!

Sorry for the rant/vent but you ladies are the only ones who will understand my frustrations.

Oh, dear what a day!! You totally deserve an award for working through so many issues. I don't know why disney has so many problems with charging on KTTW cards and even using gift cards sometimes. (Happened to us several times at F&W.)
You'd think they'd get busy and get whatever it is fixed.
I hope tomorrow is much, much better. Here's hoping starting tomorrow you have a truly relaxing and lovely vacation!

Thanks ladies!!! I am hoping with a little more sleep everyone will be in a good mood and today will go far more smoothly than yesterday. DS woke up about 6:30am with bad allergies so I have him his meds and something to drink and thankfully he fell back to sleep. DD and I are up but DH and DS are still sleeping

The plan was to spend the morning at Animal Kingdom but we may swim instead. I'll see how the boys feel about that when they wake up

Perfect! We have Via Napoli booked again for Jan and DH told me last night he want Cape May again too. The only reason we aren't doing Yachtsman is that DS hates getting "dressed up" and they really don't sit well through a longer nicer meal.

I will book CRT for DD's bday in a couple days, but now she is telling me she wants a party at Chuck E Cheese instead of Disney, LOL!!!

This will be our first time at Cape May! I am more excited than anyone because I love seafood, but I'm sure everyone else will find something to eat.

Yachtsman will be a first too, we are a Le Cellier family but since we are staying at BC (or YC, lol) it makes sense to try Yachtsman!

I'm excited to try CRT's breakfast menu...we've only done lunch and dinner there...but it was not fun making that $175 payment for breakfast. That's one thing that stinks about not being on DDP...

And, BE OUR GUEST for dinner the same day???? Enough said!!!!

I hope so!!! I am actually thinking about doing the "Her Royal Highness" package at CRT...it's about $100 but she would get a special bday balloon, crystal tiara, and an awesome 6 inch princess cake!! Does anyone have experience with this? Is it worth it?

We haven't done it but have done CRT on DD's bday. She was really spoiled with bday desserts and cards. We had already done BBB so no tiara needed. I don't know if the $100 is worth it. I think she will feel plenty bday magic without it.
