To my newest FB pals, my apologies in advance for my weirdness... :joker:

Bleh. I'm scared to get the mail and the mailman just came. The hubs will have to get it when he gets home as I refuse to check it again because when I tried earlier there was a massive, HUGE spider right inside the . I slammed it shut, had a serious case of the heebie-jeebies and came running inside. :crazy2:

The question being: Do I tell him about the spider or let him discover it himself? :scratchin

HRH gets to play hooky wit Daddy...perfect birthday (second to us going to WDW together of course)

That does sound like an excellent birthday! :goodvibes Any out-to-lunch with good ol' daddy planned for her?

... But I do keep a bottle in the room for those quiet evenings in the balcony ;) Going to send you a PM with my email address, I would love to see your pictures on FB!

Well this is my first post using Siri, let's see how it works out. I finally started back to the gym this week and eating healthy, hoping to lose the same 20-25 pounds I put on every year. Usually I'm well on my way by this time of year but I just couldn't find my motivation this year.

Did you get a quiet moment out on the balcony this past trip? :thumbsup2

Siri did a good job, by the way. :lmao: Oh, and I'm with ya on the gym thing. Now that it has cooled off, I need to start jogging again. :crazy2:

:wave2:Happy Thursday to everyone and happy changing/planning/scheming:goodvibes

Helloooooo Kook!

Thought you all would appreciate this, when I was clearing out my email last night I found all my ADR changes that I made while I was actually in WDW a couple weeks ago. See once a changer , always a changer ;) I wonder if I can stick to my plans for Oct, lol!

LOL, what were your mid-vacay changes? We wound up cancelling 50's since we woke up too late and Fresh since we... woke up late again. Luckily we added Fresh back on our last morning. Our timing was atrocious this past trip. :rolleyes2

Hello Candace and Aimee! :wave2:

Aimee - sorry I have no info regarding GF/poly, but I can tell you we are mostly MK people an LOVED staying at YC! The bus to MK wasn't bad at all. We loved walking into Epcot, even though we only went once. The ferry to DHS was crowded but tolerable.

Miss - no apologies needed for FB! My posts usually have to do with my kids driving me crazy and/ or the alcohol needed to deal with it ;) As for the spider....tell him as you are handing him something to kill it with!

In regards to my ADR changes, we actually switched our park days around so we could actually spend a morning at SAB before the rain started. So I moved Sci-Fi from Sun to Mon, added back Cape May that I had previously cancelled and then snuck in Captains Grille for breakfast (no ADR). I also didn't realize how picky DH was going to be so that stopped us from eating lunch at B&C as originally planned. I have since made him look at all the menus and pick where he want to eat for Oct ;)

I hope this is the right place for the indecisive. We leave next Friday, and I still can't make up my mind. We are doing a CSR/BC CL split stay. Currently 2 nights at CSR and 6 at BC. Just changed my reservation, yet again two days ago. I have never been one to change my reservation, but I can't seem to stop this time! I'm still thinking maybe I should switch back to Poly like originally planned.

The Poly is our favorite, but we love BC too. My boys want to stay at BC this time. We have been at the Poly twice this year already, but I'm afraid I will miss being at the Poly. I love the location, but being close to Epcot and HS is great too. This is our first moderate stay ever, so I'm a little nervous about CSR. I'm hoping we love it! I wish I could stop rethinking all of this and just be excited about the trip!

Jeanette - Sounds like HRH has put her foot down with WL, lol! How does she want to celebrate at WL? It is amazing how at eight years old they know exactly what they want ;) I hope DS's grades improve quickly, I know you really want him with you.
Hey Melissa  I'll be back on the diet exercise plan soon as well. Once the ankle can take it

So because of a heavy duty car repair bill....a change!

Pop!!!!!!!! I offered ANY value, mod, swan/dolphin, even WL without snack room....the girls all want POP :cool1: (even over LM room at AoA :goodvibes)

Jeanette, in case I miss it tomorrow, Happiest of birthdays to your precious DD!! Some stickers for her:bday:party::cake:
Thanks FabulKOOK  working this afternoon to pay some bills..BUT cake later !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:lovestruc

When you see it all on paper, our obsession is quite evident...:rotfl2:

Thank you! As you know, I've posted this question in a few different areas. I think my OCD is kicking into high gear right now :lmao:
;) All good!!! I'd do the Poly...MONORAIL!!!!! For any questions re: pool at GF, check their thread..the hostess is fantastic, lots of nice peeps! And :welcome:

Our Sarah's on the road back...

Anyone heard from Padawans? I hope those scary hot-tub amoeba didn't take our Padawans! I knew I should've waited in the bushes with disinfectant... I'm hoping she's had at least a few turns around Star Tours. :thumbsup2

Marie and Amanda are checking in today! :goodvibes

Welcome! I'd say stick with BC. :beach: I am, however, slightly biased. :rolleyes1

Make sure to report back to us on how you liked CSR! Hope your trip is wonderful whatever you decide. :goodvibes

Pop! What a way to start out the Cupcake Tour! Are you going to get a King Cupcake? Oooo, please, please, please. :hyper:

Enjoy the party later on. :goodvibes

Oh, I forgot ... a spider update!

I also forgot last night, no really... seriously. :rolleyes1 My mind is a veritable sieve. If not for my driver's license, I'm not sure I'd remember my name and address. (And, not to mention, the weight is a nicer number on it, too.)

I was just speaking with him on the phone and hung up with him since he was pulling into the driveway (on his hands-free Bluetooth, so no worries.) He comes inside after a few minutes, with the mail in his hands and says, "Guess what I got?" It all came flooding back, as I ran away from him in a not-so-graceful way saying, "Oh, YEAH! I remember... and I KNOW WHAT YOU GOT!" :scared1::eek::scared1: He said it was the biggest spider he'd ever seen outside of a tarantula -- and had got inside the junk mail. So, as he was coming up the driveway with it, it had crawled out and he flicked it off and squeeeeshed it. (Sorry to any spider lovers out there.) Oops. I told him I'd send him an email warning next time it happened -- but that I wouldn't be getting the mail any time soon anyway. :faint:

On the road :drive: about 60 miles south of Savannah where were are spending the night. We have never been to Savannah and are spending the night in the historic district which should be fun. Of course I was sad to leave this morning, but we had such a long, wonderful stay. :goodvibes And I am sooo lucky, I get to go back in 3 months and 3 days. :cool1:

Marie and Amanda should be close, if not there already :cool1:

Jenny, hope my little friend is doing better with school. She will be fine, it is just hard to be a Mom knowing your little one is upset.

miss, loved the spider story! You need to watch out for creepy, crawlies at all times :lmao:

Pas, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to HRH! :bday:

Grumpy, only a couple weeks until you are on your way. Are you excited?!! ;)

KOOK, so right about great minds! ::yes::

I am sorry, I don't remember who asked but I can answer the GF pool question. The beach pool at the GF is open, and the courtyard pool is now closed. Unlike some other resorts neither pool is considered a quiet pool, and the courtyard pool (the original one) is larger. While the courtyard pool is closed GF guests are allowed to go to the Polynesian, however most people won't bother, so it shouldn't be a concern.

Here are some pictures of our deluxe room at the BC. We were in 2557, with a huge balcony!

To the left of the picture above is an alcove with a daybed.

Our balcony was on the second floor, the whole thing was one balcony, both the sliding door and window was in our room.

Hi :wave2: to everyone I missed!

Sarah: your room looks amazing! So different than the Poly, but it looks so relaxing! And that balcony!:worship: Safe journey home...

Jeanette: Happy birthday to your DD!!party::bday::jumping1:

Marie: Hope your travel day is going smoothly!:thumbsup2

Miss: Love that spider story...I do not fancy them too much myself!!:crazy2:

So DD3 second day of school was a little better, she still had a crying episode but not as bad as day one. I have found out though that she and about 7 other kids are deathly afraid of their lunchroom supervisor :furious: (a mom who is paid to come in their class at lunch). They all start crying when the bell rings for lunch. Boy I would love to be a fly on the wall to see how this lady has been treating the kids. So many parents complained that they have moved her out to another class so I am hoping this will make a difference for DD3.

I am sooo hoping to convince DH for an adults only May trip. Maybe the 16 -19. We are also looking at these options for our Dec 2013 trip

Dec 3 - 7 rent point BLT, on the 7th drive to Kennedy Space Center for day, stay over night near Port, next morning Dream cruise 4 night

Same above but stay at AOA or ASM family suite instead.

Any thoughts out there on BLT???:wave2:

I'm finally getting around to making ADRs for the last week of my January trip. This is the week that my DD will be there with me.

So far I have:

Sanaa - our new favorite - must do every trip

1900 Park Fare - I did this a few years ago with other family members but DD has never been. Character interaction is so funny!!!

BOG - of course

Now I need something in Epcot or the Boardwalk area so we can go to Jellyrolls afterwards.

Sarah: Safe journeys! Love the pics -- especially that palatial balcony. princess::worship: I've always wanted to visit Savannah. Look forward to your review. :thumbsup2

Jen: Yikes about the "lunch lady" :scared: I hope that sorts it all out with her being moved out. ... and I hope you can get your adults-only trip. :goodvibes  Color me green with envy!

Linda: Ooooh. I like the sound of that list. I've been regretting cancelling our Sanaa ressie for two trips now. What about Bluezoo over at the Dolphin for your Boardwalk area dinner? Can't get that one outta my mind; got Bluezoo on the brain. Or The Yachstman? I'm getting seriously hungry now.

Perfect idea!!! I've got a $25.00 off certificate for Bluezoo!!! Thank you!!! Now I'm really excited!! :thumbsup2

Of course I'd love to have you!!!! I may have a problem with the menu ... I love seafood but DD not so much. She does like salmon but I didn't see any on the menu???? :confused3

Does she mind chicken? They've got a beef and pasta option, too, if I remember correctly. Hubs had something called Airline Chicken (sounds less enticing than it was). The tiny taste he was willing to part with was so sooo good. Not your typical roasted chicken breast sorta thing -- a truly top-notch tasty dish. Although, I'm not sure it's a standard menu thing though or just for their September promotion. Thinking back, I do know they've got a rotating selection of daily fish so perhaps salmon might be an option the evening you go.

Well, I went ahead and upgraded our YC portion of the trip to CL! :cool1:

It's so ridiculous. I can't imagine not doing CL if it's right there in the building. :lmao:

Plus, the breakfasts will be great for us, sooooo....I did it.

But also, DH and I were talking last night, and we really think we are getting to the point where we are going to want to put our house on the market w/in the next 2 - 2.5 years. With that being the case, I am thinking we may not do Disney in 2014, in order to save up some more money so we can purchase a new house. We just really need to get into a better school district or we are going to have to pay for private school, which we would need to save for as well....So, I figure, I'll upgrade the YC portion knowing that it could be our last trip for a couple of years....but I've got to really assess our priorities, and getting into a better school district is unfortunately a bigger issue than getting back to Disney.

Also they have crab cakes which she likes! :thumbsup2

So in addition to the reservations I made earlier I just added:

Blue Zoo - thank you Miss

Rose and Crown - we've never eaten here so thought we'd try it. Also hope they still have the Crazy Hat Lady on the piano!!!

Thank you for all the birthday stickers for HRH!!!! She will see them tonight!!! :grouphug:

TGIF!!!

Besides being a Friday, it's a special day, as it's Her Royal Highness' Birthday!! :cake: party:

:butterfly Happy Birthday Maddie!!! :butterfly

:tink: May all your wishes come true!! :tink:
