All the ADR talk has me thinking I really better get planning for January. Lucky all the RC ADRs are made, then I'm there a few days by myself so I won't need much but I really do want some when DD is there. So far the only thing we have is BOG .... but that was not an easy one to get! I did try for Le Cellier but so far nothing was available for lunch ... guess I'll just keep trying.

Hello RC’ers…I am giving up going backwards through the posts, just going to move forward. If I missed anyone with an important announcement, questions, comment, etc, I am truly sorry, blame it on the Disney moment I was in :upsidedow

Linda I agree, I LOVE WDW during the holidays, it seems even more magical if that is even possible pixiedust:

Candace Oh I wont even add it all up…..I know it is ridiculous. At least when I break up the trips I don’t have any sticker shock unlike my cruises the past couple of years :scared:

Ginny Congrats on the BC garden view!!!! I have been checking daily as well to change for my Oct trip but no luck yet :(

Jeanette You are right about availability changing and when I think about it, our Feb trip dates can be moved so that is another consideration.

Marie Glad you found a good raincoat, like Shelia said, know that you have it, you wont need it :rolleyes2

Miss LOVE the pics! How was the RR? Sorry you got rained out, hopefully the weather is better today for you :beach:

Janet You are too funny! We actually got to sit in a separate area of the restaurant where they were not seating other families, that is why is looks so empty ::yes::

Thank you to everyone for the compliments on the picture. I am trying to download more pictures that I took so I can post them.

Just wanted to point out that I've dipped under 7 months on my ticker!!! Moving right along....:cool1:

Still catching up with life but wanted to stop in quickly this morning and say I tried to do an RC this morning but it wasnt meant to be. I was trying to move our Feb trip from WL to YC, but believe it or not all the SV and GV rooms are gone already :confused3 Its the first week of Feb so not like it is heavy into the spring vacation season yet. I tried to see if there was a conference going on then but couldnt find anything.

DH is telling me to book an alternate weekend for Oct since we still dont know when the bday party is going to be :furious: We were thinking if we could get YC for Feb then move Oct to WL and then let the kids pick which resort they like better for Feb, but since it doesn't look like YC is an option we will probably stay put for Oct.

Okay back to picking up and cleaning for MIL who is arriving tonight

I hope all of you in WDW are having a blast and you have sunshine today pixiedust:

And HI :wave2: to everyone!!!

Melissa

I'm happy to be going in April/May when crowds are lower. August was SO busy.

I understand  I really want to see XMas...but DH has no desire :headache:

I'd love to see it but I don't think I can wait until December to go. :rotfl:

Melissa I am totally OK! I promise! No changing from this RC'er. :thumbsup2

And, as far as the $$ spent :scared: I guess I can take comfort in that the average trip only costs $5900 :faint: :rotfl2:
We've always gotten to stay from 8-10 nights, so a good long trip.

In my eyes, our trips are totally worth it! Having family time with no outside influences is absolutely Priceless :lovestruc and I wouldn't have it any other way.

150% agreed!

We are lucky to have Disney loving kids of course!!! Can you imagine having a child that does not love Disney??? :confused3

This past weekend, we were sitting around, watching football, and DD5 says (very sadly) "I bet there is something really awesome happening at Disney right now, like a parade or show or something. We are missing it"

Literally, this came out of the blue! DH and I just laughed and were very grateful for always having another trip booked for these types of situations. :thumbsup2

Hi Melissa! So glad you loved YC!!! Love the family of the day at CG photo! Good luck with the Oct/Feb plan! (Would you consider BC?)

I would but DH says no. We went over to Cape May for dinner one night and he said he really didn't like the feel of BC. Funny how sister resorts can feel so different. I can move my dates however and it looks like I'll have better luck with GV availability of I do.

Are you definitely doing YC for April?? :hyper:

Candace, I'm right there with you. Since my first trip in 2008, I've spent 10,000'ish on that first trip, 10,000'ish on Sept 2009, $6,000'ish on mom son trip Feb 2011, and easily 10,000 on this trip (Oct 2012) so about $36,000 since '08 :crazy2: Shhhhhhhhhhhhh......don't let DH know! He'd :faint:
Fuel the addiction, yes, I DO! :goodvibes but there's no where else I'd rather spend my money on! Oh well, saving bits here and there makes it a bit easier to swallow......and soon, with only DH and I to pay for, it should go down a bit.....until grandkids, that is ;)
I'll go put my head back in the sand now :scared:
Gwynne :cool1: so excited it's getting close for us now! 8 days to go.....I'm trying to slow down and savor it now! :wave2: can't wait to meet you

Sheila I hope your reverse psychology works! I'll gladly lose the money in the purchase of my raincoat, if it keeps things nice and :beach:

How cute! I love when Danimal says things like that. He's super into planning right now. We have constant conversations about restaurants and rides. :rotfl:

See, that's why I have never looked at a total tally. I literally for the past few years have worked Disney payments into our monthly budget...You know, alongside car payments, mortgages, daycare, electricity, gas...the important things...then there is Disney with it's very own line item. Since 2008, I have consistently been paying Disney on a monthly basis anywhere from $250-$500/month!!! It's nuts! But like you said, I am glad to hand over my money to them and grateful for the expendable income that lets us do that!!! One of these years though, I should forgo the Disney trip and just double the amount going into savings on a monthly basis instead.

I'm not ready for that yet. :rotfl2:

We just checked in; staying in the room right next-door to the presidential suite. Our neighbours better be quiet! :thumbsup2

Hoping the rain eases up enough to go to the pool. We went for a midnight swim last night since Miss M was up for it. :upsidedow

Loved the royal rooms, I'd really recommend giving it a try if it interests you -- it's not overly girly either.:thumbsup2 I think the Prince Charmings DSs would approve! :)

OH NO Miss! I am sending the sunshine your way pronto!!!!!! Glad to hear you liked the RR. I hope your presidential neighbors are nice and quiet ;)

Well it looks like we just may have a RC on our hands ;) I am going to change Oct to WL. First reason being so kids can decide which resort they like best for Feb (not giving CR as an option). Second is with F&W going on I think,we will be better off away from the Epcot resorts. I am just going to keep watching for a YC GV to open up or worse comes to worse change our dates for Feb if that is where the kids want to stay. CR is locked in for Dec, so no changing that!!!

OH BOOOOOOO!!!! :crazy2: see, that's what we DON'T want to see in Disney!!!! :p

hope it clears up pronto!!!!

Peeked at the thread and saw Mousemommy's post about adding up trip costs. I gotta get outta here before I'm tempted to join in. Just starting with the four Deluxe CL trips we've done in the past year got my heart rate up a bit. :faint:

Hope everyone who is in the World now is having an absolute blast and safe travels to those leaving soon!:banana::banana:

Oh, how quickly we forget, dear Jeannette ;)....me thinks I recall a certain Queen being a member of the future (and current) Grannie's Girls Only Trip next December...

Linda, I've been in December so many times (5 or 6) yet because I've been with an event (Mousefest), still have not had time to see even one of the WS Santas! So looking forward to December 2013!!
