I told her that I didn't think Mark would EVER let me go to Disney World without him since he is such a kid at heart.


At first, he looked at me like I was absolutely nuts. Then I told him that the dates were originally February, but changed to January, and I had wanted to do something special around this time anyway as it was the five-year anniversary of me being cancer free. I said to him, "what better way to celebrate five years" than spending it at Disney with Mary and her adorable girls?" That was the trick...he said, sure go ahead.

A wonderful reason to celebrate, a sweet family with whom to share Disney fun, and a great husband who wanted you to have this special time - all of it makes me smile.
