My husband and I have just booked two weeks at the Sheraton World Resort for May 2004. We have two children, aged 2 and 4 years. Has anyone got any comments, good or bad about this resort?

thanks

:D Hi there along the coast in Hastings;)

I think you'll find the Sheraton World fine. We stayed there for a week 3 years ago in May and had a great time. There are three pools to choose from, one with a small waterfall which the kids love. The gardens are really pretty, especially at night when the grounds are all lit up.

We found the staff really helpful. The building - except the Tower - are all two story, we chose up top because once we had a family of elephants so ever since I've been paranoid about noise;) It was lovely and quiet.

I can't remember exactly what room we were in but it was towards the rear of the resort, perhaps in the 700s. If we were back in our room by 10pm at night we could see the fireworks show from SeaWorld - which is a 5 min walk from the hotel:)

It's down the quiet end of IDrive, with a Bennigans, a steak house and another couple of restaurants opposite, the IDrive trolley stops outside to take you up IDrive or take your car for all the restaurants/shops on offer there. It's a 15 min max drive to both Universal and Disney - great location.

The restaurant was fine (kids eat free buffet breakfast if I remember) and there is a deli there serving fresh pizza and sandwiches.

Rooms were clean and tidy, no problems.
