Is there a resort fee here like at the Swan? Do you get housekeeping each day??

Hi,
The last time we had housekeeping service at Vistana was about 7 years ago, but at that time, it included daily maid service. The beds were made, bathrooms cleaned, kitchen cleaned, dishwasher ran through, carpets vacummed. Also, all the garbage cans were emptied. It was very nice, and well worth the charge.

If you are *renting* from Starwood, some rates include daily housekeeping some don't. The ones that do are usually more expensive. If you are renting from an *owner*, or exchanging in, then daily housekeeping is not included. I vaguely recall that they have a mid-week tidy, but don't quote me. I think you can request it for a fee if you wish, but don't quote me on that either.

There is no resort fee. Wifi is included. My only expenses were groceries (obviously), and we also had to pay a few bucks for a round of mini-golf, but it was pretty cheap. I think there is also a shuttle that Starwood renters can use, but owners and their renters must pay for.

The midweek "cleaning" has been cut back to taking out the garbage, making up the beds, and replacing the towels. That might have been because I am an owner, but a more comprehensive maid service is available for a fee.
