Sheraton Vistana - which way quicker to parks?

Been looking at a map, and it looks like there are 2 ways to get to Disney from here. One is to make a right onto 536, past Marriott World Center, or the other is to make a left onto 535 and go to Hotel Plaza Blvd. I'm assuming that way is quickest to go to DD, but what about the other parks?

Take a right on 535 out of the Vistana, then a right on 536 by the Marriott World Center. You will be on Disney property in less than 5 minutes. This way is the easiest - fastest way to the parks. If you turn left onto 535 and head towards Hotel Plaza Blvd, you will hit a LOT of traffic.

That's what I was going to say...............we did the same thing when we were there.

We prefer going TO WDW via going past the Marriot World Center but we prefer returning to Vistana from the parks via DD/Hotel Plaza Blvd.

We usually went via 536 unless we were going to Typhoon Lagoon or the Epcot resorts, then we would go by the Disney Marketplace. We almost always returned via I-4, taking the exit to 535.

We almost always returned via I-4, taking the exit to 535.

And this is the route (on return trip back to Vistana), where we have encountered the most traffic. At times, we've had stand-still, backed up traffic this route. I guess everyone has different experiences.

go to the parks 536 - come back DD. (or I4 - but traffic can be bad on I4)

going to the parks you can't beat 536 even using I4.

it is very easy to get lost coming back to SVR - so be sure to go the DD way.

Actually we'll have DS9, and DD5 with us as well. I am going to request either Lakes or Fountains through Diamond Lane. That is all I know so far. I'll be sure to say hello if I see you!

I haven't stayed there in about a year, so maybe it's worse right now. I know there is a lot of road construction on the one interchange of 192 and I-4. We were in Orlando last week staying out on 192 and did see heavy I-4 traffic one day going to Sea World. Since you're not on the interstate long going to Vistana, it just seems easier than two left turns, but traffic would make a difference.

more right turns yes - more left turns - I guess it depends upon the route?

Sorry I wasn't clearer. The two left turns are if you return via 536. I would never go by Disney Marketplace unless I was down on that end at the Boardwalk or at Typhoon Lagoon. There are too many stoplights and traffic is a little crazy right under I-4 on 535.

The good news is that the cheapest gas we found was at the Hess stations on Disney property. It went down four cents while we were there last week.

The station I use near home went down 16 cents today, AFTER I filled up on the way to work. Hope the downward trend continues.
