Sheraton Vistana Villages

I have been looking around, but can't find the answer I need. I am wondering who the best company is to get the best deal for a week at the Vistana Villages would be? Do they ever have any kind of coupons or friends and family deals?

I am also looking at booking this resort through RCI even though i have an ongoing search for a disney resort but that is not looking good.

I have a good amount of "trading power points" built up and am going down to Orlando 11/15-11/22 . The Sheraton is costing me a trading power 20 points along with an exchange fee of around $220 plus another $90 i think if i want to transfer it to someone else's name. That being said i myself would not rent it out to someone for any less than $650-700 for the week because of all of the fee's ( maint, exchange, transfer, membership) but you could find it cheaper.

That being said what is the cost of shuttles( Sheraton ) to and from disney parks? My in laws will be staying on disney property so would i be able to park at their resorts and take the disney shuttles for free?

I do not know about the shuttles, but I believe you are referring to Sheraton Vistana RESORT, just so you know! They are very easy to confuse, but I know that the Villages uses II and the resort uses RCI and II.

I do not know about the shuttles, but I believe you are referring to Sheraton Vistana RESORT, just so you know! They are very easy to confuse, but I know that the Villages uses II and the resort uses RCI and II.

According to MouseSavers newsletter Small World Vacations has just added SVV to its select group of resorts. DreamsRES is the sponsor of this board, ad at the top, also offers both of the Sheraton resorts. Both are trusted Disney TA's.

To Dork42775, both RCI and II prohibit the rental of your reservations. If caught, they will revoke your membership, and you will lose all units on deposit. TS owners are allowed to freely rent out their own weeks or points that they own, but they cannot deposit with an exchange company and then rent out their exchanges.

Bankr63 i was not offering but trying to give them an idea of the cost. Also i can deposit my week with RCI and transfer it to anyone. I have done it multiple times.

I understand that you weren't offering here, but be aware that you can only transfer RCI as a "gift"; if you charge for the transfer you could be kicked out of RCI (you mentioned a cost in your original post).

I have gifted several RCI weeks to family and friends (we own too many timeshares), but am not allowed to charge them. I think it is actually okay to charge them the reservation fees; but check the rules to be certain. If I can get F&F to take my actual owner weeks at Vistana or Silver Lake without going through RCI, I can charge whatever I want.

There are lots of stories of RCI members renting weeks and getting caught with dire effects for both the owners and the renters; their reservation will be cancelled on the spot. Do a little reading on tug about how these RCI rules apply if unsure.

We booked a package through Costco and stayed here recently for 9 nights. Fabulous place. New room, close to the main pool. Loved it. Would definitely come back. It was about $140 night including maid service and no resort fees.
