Who has stayed here? We are going end of May/early June. We've stayed at the Poly the two times we've gone before. We spend tons of time in the parks, not so much at the hotel. We will be driving so will have a car. There are 5 of us, myself, DH, DD12, DD10, DD7. Who can sell me on this place? I have the Poly and CR booked as a split stay right now with 40% PIN. But the deal right now here for 2BR is still cheaper. HELP!

We just stayed in a 2 bedroom at Sheraton Vistana this past September. We were located in one of the renovated rooms (they may all be renovated by now?) and we loved it. The rooms were really nice and the 2nd bedroom in our section of the resort had two queen beds which my little girls LOVED. I will tell that we did not even see the pools so I cannot comment on them. We spent the majority of our time at the resorts or eating out (except for a few meals in the kitchen of our resort). However, the actual rooms were very nice. Check-in and out were very smooth and quick as well.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom at the Sheraton Vistana about 1 1/2 year ago. It was great having a full kitchen and washer/dryer in the unit. The pool was just outside our patio and we swam in it every day. It was a regular pool that was fine for our needs. It is about a 5 minute drive from Disney, you basically drive out of the parking lot, turn right, go half a block and turn right and drive straight to the Disney entrance.

I would stay there again - the layout was good - one bedroom had 2 double beds and the other had a queen bed plus there was a hide-a-bed in the living room.

I stayed at the Villages Dec '06 and '08 in the original section. The rooms have been maintained but were not renovated as have many sections at the Vistana Resort or the new St. Augustine section at Villages. That being said, the rooms are in good shape and clean.

There is plenty of room for five people. The 2nd bedroom does have two double beds and its own bath. The master has a king size bed and a jacuzzi tub in-room. The bedrooms and the living room have a 27" or 32" TV (tube TVs in the original units). There is a decent-sized living room and a dining table for 6. The kitchen is nicely sized with a range, fridge, dishwasher. There's a small washer/dryer off the kitchen. There is a screened-in porch.

The pool at the original unit is OK. I have not eaten at the on-site restaurant.

I have not stayed in the new St. Augustine section yet (have a res for Dec '10) but I would expect similar size accommodations, if not flat panel TVs.

Driving time should be about 10 minutes to Epcot and 15-17 to TTC. You're only a few blocks from the Orlando Premium Outlets, the supermarket, and the restaurants on Vineland Rd. A few miles north on I-drive is the Pointe Orlando with more upscale restaurants.

I stayed in the Amelia section (new) 2 bedroom condo and loved it. It was wonderful having full kitchen and washer and dryer (no mountain of dirty clothes when you get home). About 5 years ago we stayed in the older section which the condos are much bigger. Lovely layout. Given the choice I would stay at SVV again over disney hotels just for the space. The master bedroom was huge with comfy king bed. Jacuzzi tub in huge bathroom also had a water closet and shower big enough for a family! The second bedroom had 2 double or queen (not sure) beds with on suite bathroom. Double sinks, granite countertop and deep bath/shower combo. Kitchen has granite counters, island, stove, microwave, dw, and full fridge. Dining area enough for 8 including island with stools. 3 flat screen tvs. Large screened in patio with nice large table and 4 chairs. Ours was overlooking lagoon with fountain. Very relaxing to read at night and listen to the fountain. Had ceiling fan and light. I would jump to stay here again. Large family pool with walk in area for little ones and splash area. There also is a large hot tub and a quiet pool for adults only. Feel free to pm if you have more questions.
