Sheraton Vistana Resort - Spas Section

Can someone tell me if the spa section is 8/6? Also how are the rooms?

Yes, the Spas are 8/6. They are one of the older sections on the resort. I have pics, but they are from 1999, so not sure how relevant it would be to post them here. Vistana is very good with rehab and maintenance as a whole, so maybe someone who has stayed there more recently might have some pics. During our stay in '99, I'd say the villa was pretty nice. Not as modern and fresh as the newer sections. I own in the Fountains, so I did notice a difference----the villa was clean and well maintained, but a little dated. The rooms are larger compared to the newest Cascades.
Like I said, when I stayed in the Spas it was '99 and the decor, while in good condition, seemed to be an 80's style. I'm thinking they MUST have remodeled since '99 though.

Thank you very much, I knew when I posted this question you would be the one to answer it. We stayed at vistana last year and loved it. We were so excited when we were able to trade into vistana for 2007. The problem is I don't remember some of the information I read in the past. Which fountains is new I or II? I think last year we checked in on a thursday and we were originally placed in falls, but then I asked checkin for cascades. We were placed in cascades, but had to wait for room, which was definately worth the wait.

Cascades would definitely be worth the wait over the Falls at check-in ! Glad u got it.
It is the Fountains II that is newer. Fountains II has the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom vs the master bathroom as with the Fountains I. So, the room layout at Fountains II follows that of the Lakes and Cascades. My only complaint about the Fountains II is that certain bldgs do not have a water view (rather they back up to a small grassy area and fence). The villas you do NOT want if you want a water view at Fountains II are :
1601-1612 (Friday)
1631-1642 (Sat) ; 1655-1672 (Sat)

You will get midweek touch up as exchangers. They'll make all beds....replenish towels/soaps/toilet paper/run the dishwasher/vacuum villa............this is normally on your 4th day. They should let u know on check-in.

Where are you staying when you go back in October?

I'm using my DVC points and staying at the Villas Wilderness Lodge. Won't be back to Vistana until next summer.

Well, it this is something you're truly still interested in, don't give up entirely. You can get some good resale deals. Check out the Timeshare Store on the DVC boards.
