Hello,
We just returned from a week stay at Sheraton Vistana Resort and overall it was a very nice place. We were in Lakes room 1818 & 1819. Two families traveling. I really felt that the room could have been a little cleaner. Felt the shower was dirty and the floors. Also the brown blankets had some white crusty stuff on it ( I was telling myself it was just baby formula. LOL) Other than the cleanliness it was a really nice place. The grounds were beautiful and the Lakes pool was awesome. It was very convewnient to get to the Disney parks. Couldn't believe how close it was. Very easy to find things. Everything was well marked. I would not recommend renting a Surry BIke unless your in shape and used to bicycling. My husband and I had a really hard time pedaling it with the 2 of us and our 4 yo and 2yo on it. We actually gave up in 5 minutes. Maybe there was something wrong with the bike or we're terribly out of shape. I would definitely go there again but remember to bring my cleaning supplies. I didn't get to use the resort much cuz we were so busy at the parks everyday.
Hope this helps someone......

Thanks very much for your review. Glad you had a nice time.
As for the cleanliness----were both Lakes units in the condition you described or just one of them ? I'm trying to determine if this was just a random oversight on housekeeping's part with one of the villas. I've owned there since '94 and have never experienced a dirty villa in any of our many stays. With Vistana being a smoking optional resort, I've also never had a problem with even a hint of smoke smell in any villa we ever stayed in over 10 years of visits. I'm sorry you had the housekeeping problem and I hope you informed Vistana of this so it might be avoided next time.
We've never rented Surrey bikes there either, but boy they sure do sound like a major workout !

Thank you for the review. We've rented the surrey bikes at Disney and couldn't believe how difficult they were.
