I need quick help! I need to decide. I'm thinking of renting a unit at the Sheraton Vistana Resort -- which looks like an awesome resort and I've read mostly great things about. My hesitation is that the owner has a specific unit in the Courts section. Maybe a good location, but I'm concerned because I know it's the oldest section. (Unit A8 just in case by some wild coincidence on of you have stayed in that same unit.) The owner says it's up to date, but really couldn't give me any specifics of remodeling or anything. It's a good price, but I'm pretty leary.

Should I do this at Courts? My other option is a 2 bedroom at Cypress Pointe Grande Villas.

Thanks!

We plan on staying there also, this Sept. I don't know the section yet. I'm curious about the resort also because i've been getting mixed feedback. I checked the RCI website..

Let me know....

We stayed in an older section in 1999. It was still awesome, definitely the best resort I have ever stayed in! The rooms were still very clean and well maintained. The resort itself was great, we could stay there a week just relaxing by the pool. Restaurants there were good too.

I have stayed in Vistana a couple of times, and believe me, I'd stay in the Courts section in a minute!!

It's really one of the BEST sections of the resort because of its location. Very very Quiet! and the landscaping and ponds are beautiful and serene. Also, the courts buildings have larger screened-in balconies than the newer units.

We got a unit in the "newer" Lakes section last time, and it was an awful location, because the back of the building was near a major highway, and all you heard while sitting on the balcony was semi-truck traffic!! It was awful!

Believe me, the courts section is very nice, and the "courts" pool is one of our favorite!!

Have Fun!

The courts section is the oldest section, but the units are the biggest (our 2 bedroom there in 2002 had 2 floors). It has also recently I think, been renovated, so it doesn't seem extremely old, even though they are 20-30 years old. The location cannot be beat. You litterally will be in the middle of things, which at the Vistana is very good. Go for it, it's a great place to stay.
