Sheraton Studio City Hotel

Im about to book 3 nights here in July, I found a pretty good rate... has anyone stayed here before?? I would really really like some detailed information from an actual person about this place, How far is it from the parks? How is the service? Is it comfortable? Is it very well themed? need lots of info!! thanx!!!

We stayed here in dec 2001 and loved it! its very 'movies' themed with fresh popcorn cooked in the lobby which smells lovely! Movie star posters everywhere and the rooms are very comfortable and and well decorated.

Its only 5 mins drive from Universal so very convenient and very easy for IDrive shops, restaurants etc

The restaurant was great for breakfast, wonderful food

Good! sounds like this might actually be nice!! Is it close enough to walk to Universal? If not do they have complimentary transportation? what the views from your room like? What is close to the hotel (attractions restraunts etc.) Im soooo curious!! sorry to be so picky... thanks SOOOOO much

we had a room at the back off the hotel, high up and could see Islands of Adventure and the Hulk ride from there......not close but in the distance

Not sure if you could walk from there, I suppose so but would maybe take a while. I think there was a bus that stopped at some of the hotels that took you there and picked you up...we had a car so didnt use it I'm afraid

If my memory is correct there is a Red Lobster opposite, and Golden Corral, McDonalds, and a host of other restaurants nearby. Wet n Wild is just over the road and the Belz shopping outlet 5 mins drive

Its a great location but beware the traffic on IDrive can be pretty heavy and getting to and from Disney takes a while on the I4
