Anyone stayed here?

If so was it ok.

Flippin' hope so as I just booked it.

hi we stayed at the safari for three weeks last october and cant think of any faults, we had a great time, the rooms was lovely, clean and over looking the pool, if you can request a pool veiw i would it was lovely of a night when we came in from the parks to sit on the balcony over looking the pool very restfull, the food was good we ate there quite a lot as it was nice but also the kids ate free, and they liked it!! it is very near downtown disney marketplace about a five minute drive. there are lots of places to eat nearby and also a wynn dixie which is very cheap. if you have any questions please ask susie

phew thanks

I'll probably have loads of questions when I think of them!!!

Thanks for your response.

We stayed there a few years ago. I liked it but DH wasnt so keen. His reasons were: The pool was FREEZING and the jacuzzi was BOILING!!! Personally, I dont think you can beat a steaming hot spa, but, granted this one was HOT!!

One tip.......when we arrived we were allocated a room which overlooked the loading bay and was noisy. I went right back down and got us switched to a pool room with balcony at no extra charge. I think it is (fairly) common practice for US hotels in this area too give Brits rubbish rooms as we are known for our "non complaining nature". Dont put up with it!! Be polite but firm and you should be OK!

There is a Sizzler next door where we ate and is great for a buffet brekkie and is cheaper than the hotel.

Dont miss the parrots in the lobby!

When we were there, they had a great "coupon" desk where you could pick up discount coupons for everything. Can save quite a bit on meals etc.

Have fun!
Allie.

Hello

Stayed there a couple of times and no complaints... clean and good aircon... the main requirements. Easy access to the crossroads shopping area (recommend jungle jims...:-).....and a nice walk to downtown disney.. fun in the early mornings...

Have fun

John

I can't help with the hotel but this comment is particularly important. If you're not happy ask to be moved. Both times we've been we've asked to be moved.

Thanks for all your replies!!!

And trust me I know how to complain.

I once got 25% discount and £600 in cash not vouchers back from virgin.;)
