Hi - Has anyone stayed at the Sheraton Park hotel recently? It seems to get mixed reviews. We are considering a last minute trip. I"ve seen people say it is an easy 10 minute walk but others report it is more like 30 minutes.

Also, the ART bus. Is it reliable to run on time?

Any other good last minute suggestions?

Thanks!

I have stayed there twice on Starwood points and loved it. I think the confusion on the different times to walk to the gate is that there is also the Sheraton Anaheim on Ball - the one that looks like a castle. The walk from that hotel can be up to 30 minutes but it has a shuttle. The walk from Sheraton Park on Harbor is the same as walking from the DLH to the gate. I takes me about 7-8 minutes, but I don't have young ones which can always slow you down. Here is a link to a nice review:

Sheraton Park is on the ART route but I found the walk to be fine. Although it might be nice at night after a long day in the park.

Are you using points for the stay? If so, it is worth it to use a little extra points and do their club level - awesome food and great view from the Club.

Have fun!

Hi There!

We stayed there last November and we really liked it! Very clean rooms and friendly staff. The walk was about 10-15 min with our 3 and 6 year olds. Not too bad. You do have to pay extra for parking and they don't offer breakfast.

Have a fun trip!:goodvibes

Hi! I stayed there a few months ago. The rooms are nice (esepcially if you get a Disneyland view!), the pool is nice, I do recommend staying there.
As for the walk ... I did it with a stoller every day and it took 15-20 minutes- little kids are not going to be power walking the way adults do, so it would be more realistic to expect it to take at least 15 minutes. It's a very easy walk out the hotel's door and straight until you hit Disneyland! However, at the end of the day, it felt like a very, very long walk. I dreaded it so much that I put off leaving the parks for as long as I could to gather enough desire to make the walk again. But when you have days like that, well, that's what taxis are for!
Truthfully, short of the Disneyland hotels it is pretty much as close as any other hotel gets. I hope you have a good trip!

Thanks for the input! I'll be with my two teenage sons so it sounds like the walk won't be bad at all. I sometimes worry more about the safety walking back late.

Did you use the ART transportation system at all? Looks like it would cost us $30 for unlimited rides for the 3 days. Might be worth it to have that as an option. But, I've heard mixed reviews on that. Any recent feedback? Thanks!
