Shellac at Senses

Does anyone know if a manicure with shellac instead of regular nail Polish is offered at Senses Spa?

Good question - would like to know for when we cruise again to make a booking. Cant remember if it was available when i crusied last in 2014 with DCL on Fantasy.

Yes. They do a great job. The CND weekly polish is also available.

I got it in 2014. It was quite an up charge on top of the normal manicure and they also charged for getting off the previous shellac. My nail place at home does not charge for removal when I get new shellac. I was also not impressed with the selection of colours, all were very basic. On vacation I like to get something a bit more exciting than a pale pink... The service itself was ok, but I found that it started to peel slightly quite quickly. Never had that happen at home. Of course this might just have been my CM and obviously chances are that you will not get exactly the same CM I had.

All in all, I was not thrilled, but it was not so bad either. I am most likely getting it done again on my next cruise due to travel before and after the cruise that just makes it sensible to get it changed on the cruise again.

On our Hawaiian cruise last year, I had to have my pedicure fixed after an excursion of walking thru rocky creeks and swimming in a waterfall.
The girl told me they were now doing the shellac's, I didn't need it but wondered what the uncharge must be.
When we do an extended vacation, I put a new gel set of white tips on and leave them natural, it lasts for about 3 weeks and you can't see the grow out when they are natural.
