Shell station by MCO- don't buy gas there

$2.74 today at the two hes stations, by Boardwalk and DtD. I always fill up at Boardwalk Hess before heading back to MCO.

I think HESS is under contract with WDW to only charge a certain percentage over wholesale prices, so that is why their prices are reasonable. If they weren't it would be scary to see what they would be.

What happened to the Shell / Circle K south of 417 on Boggy Creek Road? I'm searching for it in Google Maps and it doesn't show it.

It's on the corner of Boggy Creek and and 530, maybe 1/2 mile south of 417.

Searching the Shell website it give the location as 3280 BOGGY CREEK RD
KISSIMMEE, FL 34744-9528

Wondering if it still exists? Very convenient when heading to MCO from WDW.

Filled up there in January. It's a mile or more south from the exit.

If you drive into a gas station and look at the pump and don't like the price, then drive out without buying anything.

Returning to airport via I-4 East to 528 East, get off 528 at its exit 9 (Tradeport). Left and cross under. Nice cheap gas station to top off at is right there on the left.

Leaving the gas station, get into middle lane facing north (528 crosses over in your rear view mirror). Required right onto McCoy, little over a mile is 436 (Semoran). Right for airport, left for another super expensive gas station.

In 1985,when I was leaving the MK,I had to put gas in my car because I wouldn't have made it back to my aunt's house. I pulled into the MK gas station. At that time,it was an Exxon station. The price was 30 cents ABOVE the average price outside of WDW. I only bought 5 dollars worth instead of a full tank.

There are 2 7-11's real close to the airport. One is on McCoy the other is at that weird intersection where McCoy and Boggy Creek meet.
There is also a convenience store/gas station on 535 that price gouges. I don't recall the name but it's right across the street from the Waffle House. I would not go there!!

Because it is close to the airport for those people returning rental cars.

If I saw that price I'd just turn the car in and pay the absurd prices the rental agents charge which may even be cheaper.

IlovePiglet,.as of 1/18/2011, it is a Mobil. When we were last in Disney World 1/13-1/18/2011, we thought about filling up our Chevrolet HHR rental car there on our way to MCO. There were no posted prices from outside the station, but they were charging $3.79/gallon for Regular when we drove in to look. However, thanks to Gasbuddy, this site, and knowledge of being ripped off, we filled up at a 7-11 off of the Beachline (FL-528) and paid a far more reasonable $3.09/gallon for Regular. Avoid the Mobil on FL-535 right outside of WDW and use the Hess stations on property or another station instead.

Most places require a large sign with the price of gas. Orlando allows stations to "hide" the price of gas until you get to the pump.
