Sheet Music

My planner e-mailed to say that they have the sheet music for all but two of my ceremony song choices.

They don't have the sheet music for 'Nobody Else But You' from A Goofy Movie and 'Down to Earth' from Wall-E

I know absolutely nothing about music whatsoever lol. We are having a violinist. I've done a quick google search and found sheet music for piano, voice, and chords. Is one of these appropriate for a violin? Does anyone have a suggestion of where I should look for sheet music for these songs? Is there a certain price I should be paying for sheet music?

I believe piano or voice would be fine because they both use the treble clefs, which is the same clef as the violin (whereas the viola uses the alto clef). I'm sure the musician is experienced and can easily transpose and arrange the piece to play the melody. Just be sure to get the music to them early enough that they would have time to work on it and practice. Maybe burn a cd with those songs on it so they can get a feel for the songs.


Is there a way you could speak the the violinist that's going to play at your wedding? That would be the best way to go.

I bought a lot of sheet music for our ceremony, and all the music sheets I bought and downloaded was for the piano/guitar. It must be fine, because nobody has said otherwise.

I think you only need the treble clef.. I had to download a full sheet music for the piano..but I am sure your musician can use a full.

I recommend that you have a CD too...I had it just in case but my pianist was amazing and played it with 5 minutes notice the night before our ceremony
