Snow, sorry to hear about the latest injury. The neck is an awful spot to get hit. I have arthritis in my neck and it's not fun.

Are they having prom at your school or is it at a banquet facility. I know a lot of schools are having them at the actual school now to cut costs.

It took me a moment to figure out how you knew that!

Yes, I took DS to Target, early yesterday morning, 10 minutes after they opened. He purchased it with money that he made selling things on e bay. He used the information that PAD gave me to know which one not to buy, did some additonal research and called Target the night before to make sure it was in stock.

If you package the cow patties like this, you'll probably do quite well!

DS is on the bus to Cedar Point
and the DD's are headed to the Science Center a bit later today


Nice to have all the kids occupied in a fun way
as I trudge off to the last day
(not really, the end is always bittersweet)

I have enjoyed my class this year
even with the impulsivity issues
they were a nice KID class, not worldly or sarcastic
there will be lots of hugs today!

I hope that they all have a good time today!

It is so nice to be able to say that you enjoyed teaching a good class of children this year. I hope that you have as good a class or better for the upcoming school year!

Prom is at a local banquet facility...about 15 minutes away.
It isn't the best place...the father of one of the girls I go to school with owns it so the senior class advisor booked it at a discounted price without checking to see if it was alright with us so that caused a bit of an uproar

I am home from the last (half but LONG) kid day of school!

We don't dismiss until after lunch
and with nothing productive to do
it was a long day
we signed yearbooks and shirts and played with our reading buddies
and then there was still too much time left and the kids started to get on each other's nerves...


but it all ended well, with nice talking and hugs and happy summer wishes
