morning all

thank you all for your thoughts & prayers it really means a great deal to me to have such wonderful friends.

Isaac is doing well -- tired & a bit grumpy (but that's the kinda kid he is )

He did get a bit sick over the night on Monday -- but I think that might have a bit to do w/ he didn't really eat much all day Monday -- he was fasting for his surgery for his medport, then chemo & being tired-- food was way down on the list.

He will need 6 months of weekly chemo (they will need to go down to Children's in Pittsburgh-- but at least it is only a couple of hours away) & then monthly for 3 &1/2 years.

He has had several transfusions already & seems a bit perkier after them.

My Mom went down to see him yesterday & we sent him a bunch of movies, DS games & webkinz codes -- so he at least is having some fun!

My sister has settled down a bit (good sister -- not the crazy ones ) & is now in research & question mode w/ the docs.

He is a Make a Wish kid now -- I think the World is going to be one of his choices .

DS12 has his dance on Monday & 'completion ceremony' on Tuesday.....jr. high for him next year

(girls=fancy dresses & shoes, nails & hair done (probably a pedi too )

Prom's Friday...not really looking forward to it but I'm sure I'll have fun.

I love my new laptop...the keyboard is a little funky...you have to press really hard on the keys...but other than that it's great!
