She Cried....

We surprised our boys too - made a hidden message word search that spelled out "We're going to DIsney in February" - all they said was "where are we staying?" and went off to their new electronic gadgets they got for Christmas.

Anyone have 2 greatful children that would like to go & take the place of mine?!?!? I'm more excited than they are & I was just there in November!

Our Christmas present... a trip to Disney went very well. We packed a big washing Machine box with ballons and a scroll tied to on that said "Surprise We're going to Disney". The box drove them crazy since it was the last to be opened. DD 9 cried and our DD 15 even teared up before she regained the typical teen indifferance DS7 jumped around a whooped and hollered
It was soooo worth keeping it a surprise!

Aww! We did the same thing! The fancy helium balloons floated and the plain, cheap ones sank We filled the box with those plastic balls they put in those kiddie playground things - that turned out pretty cool too.

The kids were still properly wowed though, and that's what counts!

Understand, my imagination could only pale in comparsion, but the confusion , disbelief, and pure excitement , I can visualize. What a great memory you made for your children Christmas morning. One they will always remember and tell over and over again in the years to come. Just think this will more than likely be told to their children.

That is awesome, we wanted to do that, but where we were spending xmas it was not really possible to. instead we filled a box with some cool disney things and a sign saying they were going next month! The worst thing, they were like oh cool and that was it!!LOL

Mine know that Disney is mommy's happy place. So they know we're going back....eventually.
