Shhhhhh! STOP THAT! People want to be offended. They want this to be about race. You are ruining Al Sharpton's rant!
How dare you make sense![]()

yep, I cant stand him either. Still wish someone ran his stupid trouble making rear over when he laid down on the NJ Turnpike.

While I don't think it's *supposed* to be about race, as a political cartoonist, the artist should have known it could be interpreted as such.
So sick of this tip toeing around how other people may interpret things.
Anyone can be offended by anything. While I don't think it's *supposed* to be about race, as a political cartoonist, the artist should have known it could be interpreted as such.
I think it's in poor taste no matter what it's really about. The violence of the image bothers me a lot.

Alright, I'm confused... I didn't think the executive branch wrote bills.![]()
The way I see the cartoon is that Congress is being compared to a rampaging chimp.
Buuuut, thanks Rev Sharpton for so predictably making it about race.![]()
And I thought the election results would put a halt to Sharpton's primary source of income. I was wrong.

I don't think it was meant to be racist, but I do think the cartoonist was an absolute idiot if he didn't realize that it could be viewed as racist. Any way you look at it, this was classless, careless, and tasteless.
The nice thing about opinions is that we all have one, huh?

I'm sorry, guess I should have added IMO or JMHO....![]()

Look, I don't know if this was about Obama. It could not be, but don't act as if this wasn't questionable. The mere fact that whatever satire of that picture - it's questionable, in poor taste, or we all don't get it. It's not appropriate. Had they had several monkeys (one in a dress) I would have thought they were referring to Dem congress - I would get that – maybe not like it, but we’d get it? This was in extremely poor taste. Why refer to "they" in the picture, but ONLY show ONE monkey? That seems racist to me.
