Hmm, I haven't seen that problem. Possibly something in your user folder has been corrupted somehow. It's probably easiest to reinstall. If that doesn't do it, there's a profile manager where you can create a new user, then copy over your cookies and bookmarks, but that's very rarely necessary (which is probably why they don't make a default icon for the profile manager any more, which they used to do.)

It's also possibly that there's some piece of spyware or weird extension that's causing the problem, but generally that's not much of a problem with Firefox.

I just right clicked on a red x, go to properties, copy the url, then paste it into my browser, hit go. Then I saw them. Had to repeat for each picture.
