Sharing Meals

Obviously the table service meals would not work so well, but do many people share counter service meals?

I am thinking that to avoid wasting so much food during my next visit sharing of counter service meals would be a good alternative. We will have drink mugs, so beverages are not a problem and with the size of portions we have received in the past I don't think anyone would leave the table still hungry.

Does anyone know if any of the restaurants have issues with this?

We have been known to share a CS meal or two in the past. Disney does not have an issue with this and I totally agree, often there is more than enough food for 2 adults in one CS meal. (In our case I meals feeds 1 mom & 2 little kids with food to spare).

I am assuming we will share CS meals. I've read that the breakfast CS platters are resorts (adults) are pretty big. I'm happy for that. :)

DS (now 9) has never been a lover of "kid food", plus Disney portions are huge. We have shared tons of meals...at both CS and TS, obviously we did not share buffets!! We have shared at T-Rex, Coral Reef, Sci-Fi, Whispering Canyon (not the skillet), and at one time or another, almost all the CS.

Between the 3 adults we normally share 2 counter service meals. It stops us from getting that "too full" feeling (where I absolutely don't want to walk afterwards) and it makes it so the DDP covers all of our meals.

You pay for the plan, you should be able to use it to your likeness.

I've noticed since the DDP got discussed on here or sites like these (things we do to make DDP work to our advantage) Disney takes those advantages away somehow.

Anyone noticing that too?:sad2: Hey you pay for it -- we should be able to use it!! :rolleyes1

Well, yes and no - You should be able to use it to your likeness within the "rules and regulations" of the plan. Some of the suggestions that were floated around - especially in 05 / 06 when the Magic Your Way Plus Dining was introduced - were taking advantage of the program which is why Disney closed some of the loopholes (most noteable - separating child and adult table service credits).
