Do the restaurants charge you if you share a meal? Also do they have issues if our 3 year old eats part of our meal instead of ordering? Sometimes it is fun to share a meal and then we feel like we can order drinks & dessert without breaking our budget.:cool1:

The only restaurant that I know of that does is Shula's, which is not a Disney owned restaurant.

I have split meals nearly everytime I dine at WDW and it's never a problem; matter of fact, the kitchen has always split our meal in the back and given us both a full size side!

Not a problem with what you want to do. And I second the caution about the full size sides. I always give the example of when my son ordered the cheese soup at LeCellier and I asked for three spoons so my husband and I could also taste it. We ended up with three 3/4 full bowls of soup (and charged for one). We've also gotten a full side of fries when that was the main reason we were sharing - neither one of us wanted a full portion of the fries!

Disney restaurants will gladly supply extra plates, cutlery or anything else you need to share.

I personally would not try it at a buffet or with a bottomless beverage though.

we have shared several times w/o any problem at all...they understand. Its not like you can take your left overs w/you, so I'd rather share than waste.

Thank you, I just wanted to be sure because I read on a Disneyland thread that the charged you if you shared so I just wanted to be sure. Thanks:yay:
