Sharing meals, WLS question

We'll be at Disney in 6 weeks, and doing the DDP, but since I'm a lap-band patient I definitely won't be able to eat full meals. Last year we had free QS dining, and it wasn't a problem since I was able to share meals with pretty much anyone willing to share. Since it was so much food we were all sharing most of the time anyhow, which resulted in about 25 extra meal credits the last day. This time I don't want to get stuck losing credits, but I also don't want to waste food. Will some TS places let us share? For instance will Tony's, 50 Prime Time, or Captain's Grille? If so than I can book an extra TS for my mom and niece who will be at Epcot while my son & I do CS on a pool day? I just don't want to order a meal a Tony's and eat 1/2 a cup of food and toss the rest if we can use that credit another time.

Thanks!

You have lots of options. First of all, the credits belong to the room, not the individual, so one option might be to spread out the credits to cover more meals, with you ordering something small out-of-pocket (like maybe an appetizer) instead of using a credit.

The only places that we see reliable reports of "no sharing on the DDP" are Beaches and Cream and Via Napoli. Every other restaurant seems to allow it. Obviously, this doesn't apply at "admission" meals (buffets, family style, dinner shows) -- you have to pay regardless of how much (if anything) you eat.
