Sharing meals while on DDP?

Forgive me as this has probably been asked and answered somewhere around here, but I haven't run across the answer anywhere. My family of 7 (three generations) is headed to WDW over spring break, and I am sure that there will be an occasion or two at which some of us may want to split a meal. Can this be done on the DDP at TS restaurants without each person having to use a TS credit? (To be clear, we don't plan to do this at all meals, but knowing my family, it will likely happen here and there, and I just want to be clear on what the rules are). Thanks in advance!

At 99% of places, you will have no problem sharing.

One definite exception is Via Napoli. They will NOT allow two people to use one credit and share a meal, so either skip this one, plan for eveyrone to use a credit or pay OOP.

Also, you cannot share any dish served family-style, anywhere that is all-you-care-to-eat (Ohana as an example), or any buffet.
