Sharing Meals and must have Snacks

Can we share meals from the meal plan? There are four of us, and I was considering the meal plans.

We have only shared meals using the quick service dining plans. The cards come loaded with the meals/drink/snacks and you just use to buy what you want at the counter service locations. We do 2-3 platters at the HP restaurants and share. We only had the full service plan once when we bought a package and it was way too much food, not a good value.
