How are the restaurants on sharing an order? I really want to eat at all of the wonderful restaurants, but I don't want to get home and have a killer credit card bill!! LOL

I've finally figured out that maybe this is why there are so many buffets - so you won't split a meal!!

How about my 2 & 4 yr olds sharing?

Do they expect everyone to order?

Is there a charge for splitting?

THX

We almost always share, and have not had any negative feedback yet.

Some of the kitchens will split the entree for you, and others will bring you an extra plate and leave you to split it yourself.

The only restaurant that I know of on property that charges to split an entree is Shula's, in the Dolphin.

Have fun!!

I have had good experiences splitting meals at WDW. Dh and I will sometimes split an appetizer, a main course and then dessert.
It's never been a problem and is usually brought to the table already divided on two plates. We sometimes do this because we enjoy appetizer's and dessert's, but if we each order there's no way we can eat that much food!
We do tip as if we had each ordered an entree. In other words, if we have an appetizer, split an entree, then have dessert; we tip as if we had both had entree's.
Enjoy your dining experiences!

My Mom and I have done this. We have split steaks at CRT and LeCellier. There's no way each of us could eat the whole thing, half is just right. I also give the waiter an extra tip considering that he served a table of two but didn't get a full check for two.
