Sharing CS meals...

Now I know it sounds difficult to share TS meals..but what about sharing CS meals? Can I my dh and I split a sandich and our 2 kids do the same? That way we could stretch the number of meals we have a bit. Anyone done this? Are the CS meals a generous size?

Some are more generous than others, but I think if you're not huge eaters, you could easily find some CS meals to share. Are you on the dining plan? If so, you can use your CS credit for one meal and pay cash for a little something extra to make it go father if you like.

The rotisserie chicken meal at Tusker House is quite large. If you're going for a burger meal, get a double burger. Some people go so far as to pay for an extra bun and split the double burger thay way.

We do this all the time because we're not huge eaters. We usually get a dbl cheeseburger or sandwich and fries. This stretches the money and also leaves room for the all important afternoon snacks like Dole Whips, Mickey Bars, Carmel Apples, Main St. Bakery cupcakes, etc...

SO and I almost always shared a CS lunch during our last trip. We mostly stuck to chicken tenders and fries and found there was enough to keep both of us satisfied. However, we were also trying to keep our lunches on the lighter side since we had TS restaurants planned for dinner. But I'd say you could definitely split a meal.

If you're on the dining plan, I think you will have lots of food! You can share meals or you can pay for kids meals. We paid for kids meals on our August trip and saved some of the CS meals for breakfast.

we are on the dining plan. the TS meals sound huge with the appetizer and dessert. I was thinking we could split breakfasts and lunch to leave room for dinner. that way they won't have to roll me out of WDW when I leave! I am excited about the dining plan...the restaurants sound great.

Are they keeping adult and child CS credits seperate now? Or are they still pooled?

DD and I often share CS meals. Even when she wanted a veggie burger we shared and it was quite good.
