Sharing CS meal with DS3?

We are mostly eating CS on our upcoming trip. Usually we have the dining plan. For some of our meals, I thought I would just order the adult chicken nugget meal with fries and share with my DS3, since he eats like a bird. If he wanted grapes or apple sauce, could I buy it separately? Also, if I don't have a juice box already with me, can I buy a milk or juice separate from the kids meal?

Ultimately what I'm trying to avoid is buying a 7.00 adult nugget meal and 4.50 kids nugget meal. We can just share an adult meal. Is this allowed and can I buy a fruit by itself that would have been included in the kids meal?

Sure you can share with your son.

We were recently at POR and my son just wanted an applesauce, not the meal. I purchased just one apple sauce, I think it was .79 : I also did see juice boxes in the refrigerator case but I don't remember what the price was.

Just got back from WDW and shared EVERYTHING with our granddaughter who is 2 and a half. Actually at some meals including CS ones all three of us me, daughter and granddaughter could have shared one. Some rest. imo give way too much food on one plate. Others such as Le Cellier do not. We ate all of our meal there. Thankfully we ordered my GD a plate there. Of course took most of it to resort but we had enough not too much. So yes share away.

CS meals come as combos or totally al a carte. You can buy anything you want and share it among as many people as you want.

I would definately recommend sharing. We ate only a few CS on our trip and we shared with DD5 who eats very little. She ate even less while at Disney, she was just too distracted. There is no problem with sharing
