I am sorry if this has been answered but I am struggling to find my answer and I am
Confused.

My husband and I are staying on site for 5 days and then off site for 5 days. My parents are staying on site for 10 days. We have two separate bookings. We have all purchased the regular dining plan. We are visiting in April 2020.

We were hoping when my husband and I were staying off site we could still eat with my parents and share their dining credits for two meals. Now I am worried this is not possible.

My sons are also coming ( ages 3 and 5) but we planned to pay for their meals separately when we are staying off site.

This should not be a problem. Disney allows credits to be shared so yes your parents will be able to use 4 qs or 4 ts adult credits to pay for 4 adults.

Have you considered having your parents add the kids to their room and booking dxdp and then sharing the credits between the 2 rooms? Might be worth doing the math, just a thought

Caveat: we don’t know if there are any changes coming in 2020.

I would totally run the math for this. The OP can make changes as needed if 2020 brings the restrictions back in terms of sharing credits.

Thank you for all your replies. We are coming from the UK and we get the ‘free dining offer’ So wouldn’t be beneficial to upgrade the dining.
