Hi,
I have 5 year old triplets. We went to WDW when they were three turning 4. We did not do autograph books. I didn't want to keep up with them and they were thrilled hugging and meeting the characters. I am debating doing autograph books for our upcoming trip. If I do them, should I do one or three? One of my sons is autistic and would not understand the books. I think the other two would like it and I know they would not mind sharing. I feel that three autograph books and than pictures would be too time consuming. We are either going during Presidents week or the week before Easter so I know it will be very crowded. Has anyone ever had their kids share?

I did 4 autograph books last year and it was very time consuming. I am doing one shared book this year. Also less to carry around.

We always just did one "family" autograph book that I made up with individual pages for each character. (check out the DISigns forum)
The kids took turns handing it to the characters.
This past trip since the other kids that were going with us were going to each have their own, we left our kids have their own as well.
Next trip we will definitely be back to just one book.

I think one book they get to take turns handin g over would be fine, though to be honest, dh usually has the stack of books "all together with the page ready" lol.

Either way, have fun!

I did a photo frame & planned on bringing it to all the parks but I just took it to Chef Mickey's the first night, had the fab 5 sign it & that was it.

I got my kids hats & the characters signed them. Much easier then a book & they wore the hats the entire time.

Oooh, I love the idea of the frame for chef mickeys. I plan to get the kids autograph books for the parks but a signed mat for a photo would be great. Thanks for the idea.

Someone in a forum mentioned that they were taking a DW poster and having all the characters sign the poster. I would add to make sure you have a hard object for them to set it on while they sign (like a clipboard or something). Maybe that would work for the 3 kids to share.
